Overview
Create and edit animated bar, line and pie charts from ChatGPT using your RaceCharts account. Start with your own data, an existing project or a ready-made example. Customize titles, colors, layouts, images, music and timeline events. With direct saving enabled, your assistant saves your requested changes and gives you a project link. You can also preview changes before saving. You control which projects and actions your assistant can access. When your chart is ready, ask for a video and receive a download link. Exports use your existing RaceCharts plan or export credits. A RaceCharts account is required.

ChatGPTRestore the checkpoint before one connector commit, only if nothing changed after it. Cannot delete a newly created project.
update_chart_draft
ChatGPTApply a native Form or racecharts-project SHALLOW patch to an isolated draft. Omitted fields/media stay unchanged; explicit empty text clears a field, audio:null removes music. Data changes require data-write. Render then commit to save, requesting approval only if approvalRequired is true. Never pass redacted placeholders as media.
upload_chart_asset
ChatGPTUpload a SMALL owned PNG/JPEG/WebP or MP3/WAV file (up to 1 MB of decoded bytes). For larger files use a signed upload, ChatGPT file reference, or RaceCharts AI connections. Images are decoded and metadata stripped. No arbitrary URL fetches. Requires assets:write.
validate_chart_document
ChatGPTValidate a racecharts-project export, {name, templateId, form}, or bare Form patch. No saved chart or draft is changed. Return normalized settings/data and actionable warnings. fromExample seeds a new document; projectId validates a patch against an existing permitted chart.
video_export_status
