Overview

RaidTrainExpress connects your RTE raid train schedule to ChatGPT, so you can check what's coming up and set up your next event without leaving the conversation. Ask what's on your calendar and get your trains, challenges, your own slot times, and any to-dos that are due — all in your timezone, with links back to each event. Ask about a specific train and you get what matters for your role: organizers see how much of the lineup is filled and who still has to-dos outstanding; participants see their slot and what they need to do before it. Not sure how something works? Ask, and you get an answer drawn from the actual Raid Train Express help docs, with a link to the full article — no guessing about features. When you're ready to run something new, it walks you through creating a train or a challenge one question at a time, checks your invite list against your contacts, and shows you the full plan before anything is created. Nothing goes live until you confirm. Read-only unless you say otherwise, and it only ever sees what your own account can see. Connect and disconnect any time from your account settings.

Tools

answer_question

ChatGPT
Submit the user's answer to the current questionnaire question (or skip a skippable one). Returns the next question, a validation error to relay, or the final review.

cancel_workflow

ChatGPT
Abandon the current questionnaire. Nothing was created.

confirm_and_create

ChatGPT
Create the train or challenge exactly as shown in the review. Only valid after the review; the response includes the link to open plus thumbnail-generation specs.

get_challenge

ChatGPT
Details about one of the user's challenges by id or (partial) name. Creators get participation stats; participants get their own goals and progress.

get_help_article

ChatGPT
The full text of one help article, by the slug returned from search_help. Answer from this content — do not invent RTE features it does not describe. Some articles also carry a video walkthrough; offer its link when one is present.

get_my_profile

ChatGPT
The connected RTE user: display name, timezone, and what they can do. Call this first to personalize answers and format times correctly.

get_my_schedule

ChatGPT
The user's unified upcoming schedule, one entry per event: event_title, roles (every hat they wear — organizer/performer/mod on trains, creator/participant on challenges), and the relevant times (event span, their own slot, meetings, their scheduled shows, and to-do/goal deadlines including prep items like adding their show link). Chronological; in-progress events are included. Times carry both iso and local — present the local form, it is already in the user's timezone — and include each url as a clickable link. Entries with status "cancelled" should be presented as cancelled.

get_train

ChatGPT
Details about one of the user's trains, shaped to their role. Organizers get management stats (lineup fill, to-do completion) — offer get_train_participants for per-person detail. Participants get their own slot, to-dos, and the lineup. Accepts a train id or a (partial) name like "my Friday train".

get_train_participants

ChatGPT
Organizer-only: every participant's confirmation and to-do completion state for a train. Use after get_train when the organizer wants per-person detail.

go_back

ChatGPT
Return to the previous questionnaire question; the prior answer becomes the default.

search_help

ChatGPT
Search the Raid Train Express help docs for how a feature works. Use this whenever the user asks how to do something on RTE rather than asking about their own trains. Returns ranked articles with short excerpts — excerpts are truncated, so fetch the article with get_help_article before explaining anything in detail. Unlike the train and challenge tools, this content is first-party documentation, not user-written text. Cite the url so the user can open the full page.

start_workflow

ChatGPT
Begin (or resume) the guided questionnaire that creates a raid train or a challenge. Returns one question at a time; relay each question conversationally, then call answer_question. The server controls order and validation — never invent or reorder questions.
