Overview

Receivo is invoicing software for small businesses and trades. Connect your Receivo account to ask about your business in plain words: which invoices are overdue and by how much, what you were paid this month, or what is on a particular invoice. If you allow it when connecting, ChatGPT can also add new clients and create invoices for you. Invoices are always saved as drafts: nothing is sent to your client and no payment is requested until you review it and send it yourself in Receivo. The plugin only ever sees your own Receivo account, with the same permissions you have when you sign in. It cannot send invoices, email clients, take or move payments, change your plan, or edit or delete anything. You can disconnect at any time in Receivo under Settings, AI Connections.

Tools

create_client

ChatGPT
Add a new client to the Receivo account. The client appears immediately in the user's dashboard under Clients and can be invoiced. REQUIRED: name, email. OPTIONAL: phone, company, address, notes. Before calling this, collect the required fields FROM THE USER. If they have not given you a name and an email, ask for them and wait for the answer. Never guess, invent, or fill in placeholder values such as "unknown", "n/a" or an example.com address — this writes real data into the business the user invoices from, and a wrong email means an invoice goes to nobody. Offer the optional fields too, and mention they can be skipped. It is fine to ask for everything in one message rather than one field at a time. Read the details back for confirmation before calling.

create_invoice

ChatGPT
Create a new invoice for an existing client. It is saved as a DRAFT — nothing is emailed to the client and no payment is requested. The user reviews and sends it from Receivo. REQUIRED: client_id (from list_clients), and at least one line item. Line items are given as parallel lists, one entry per line in the same order: item_descriptions, item_prices and (optionally) item_quantities. For example, two lines "Boiler service" 2 x 150.50 and "Callout" 1 x 40 are item_descriptions ["Boiler service", "Callout"], item_quantities [2, 1], item_prices [150.50, 40]. OPTIONAL: due_date, issue_date, tax_rate, discount, notes, terms, currency. Collect the line items FROM THE USER before calling. Never invent an amount, a description or a quantity, and never round or "tidy" a price they gave you — this creates a real invoice for real money. If you are unsure of any figure, ask. Call list_clients first to get the client_id; do not guess it. If the client does not exist yet, create them with create_client first. Read the full breakdown back to the user — every line, the tax rate, the discount and the total — and get confirmation BEFORE calling this.

get_invoice

ChatGPT
Fetch a single invoice by its invoice number (e.g. "INV-0042"), including its line items.

list_clients

ChatGPT
List the account's clients, alphabetically. Optionally search by name or email. Each client includes an id — that is what create_invoice needs. Call this first to get it, and use the id exactly as returned; never invent or guess one.

list_invoices

ChatGPT
List the signed-in Receivo user's invoices, newest first. Optionally filter by status.

list_overdue_invoices

ChatGPT
List invoices that are past their due date and still unpaid, with how many days late each one is.

revenue_summary

ChatGPT
Summarise paid, outstanding and overdue amounts for the account, optionally limited to a period.
