Overview

Ask ChatGPT for a recipe for your Thermomix® and get a Cookidoo® link you can save to your own account, with the guided cooking steps already set. How it works: ask for a dish, or paste a recipe of your own. ChatGPT writes it in Thermomix style and shows it as a card with the ingredients, the steps, and each machine setting highlighted: time, speed, temperature, reverse, and the dough, turbo, browning and steaming modes. An ingredient named in a step is highlighted too, with its amount next to it. The card speaks the language of your conversation: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Polish or Portuguese. Check the recipe and ask for any change. The card says which country's Cookidoo site the recipe will be sent to. That country comes from the approximate location ChatGPT shares with the plugin, so you are not asked for it. If your Cookidoo account is registered in a different country, tell ChatGPT before sending. ChatGPT asks for the country only when it has no location to go by. When you say yes, or press Send to Cookidoo on the card, the recipe is created on the Cookidoo site of that country and the card shows the link. Open the link while signed into Cookidoo, choose Add to Created recipes, and it is in your account ready for guided cooking: each step with its time, speed, temperature and mode, the ingredients linked to their steps with their amounts, and a cover photo. You never give us your Cookidoo or Vorwerk login. The recipe is created under the plugin's own Cookidoo account and shared by link. Who it is for: Thermomix owners with a Cookidoo account who want to cook ChatGPT's ideas, family recipes, or leftovers recipes with guided settings instead of typing them in by hand. Limitations: sending works for Cookidoo accounts registered in the United States (cookidoo.thermomix.com) and in the countries of Cookidoo's international site (cookidoo.international). The current list is at https://cook.bygmv.com/terms. For any other country the card shows the recipe without a Send button and says that sending is not available there yet. A link only opens for accounts on the same Cookidoo country site, so check the country on the card before you send. The country is read from ChatGPT's approximate location, can be wrong when you travel, and is not stored. Machine temperatures show in °F for accounts registered in the United States and in °C everywhere else. You need your own Cookidoo account to open and save a recipe. A sent recipe is public: anyone who has the link can open it, Cookidoo shows it as shared by the community, and you cannot edit or remove the shared original, only your saved copy. Do not put personal information in a recipe. Send only recipes ChatGPT wrote or your own, not recipes copied from websites, books, or Cookidoo. A recipe holds up to 40 ingredients and 30 steps. The plugin limits how many recipes it sends per minute and per day, so a send can ask you to wait. Settings are written by ChatGPT and can contain mistakes: check times, speeds and temperatures before you cook. On the Thermomix a saved recipe runs one screen per step, with the settings loaded on the dial and the ingredients of that step listed at the scale. It does not get the separate screen per ingredient that official Cookidoo recipes have. The cover photo is generated by AI from a short English description of the finished dish, or else from the recipe name and its main ingredients, which are sent to an image generation provider named on the privacy page, so it is an illustration and may not match the dish exactly. If the photo cannot be generated, the recipe is sent without one. There are no accounts and no history. The plugin keeps no recipe and no photo on its own server. Unofficial: not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Vorwerk. Thermomix® and Cookidoo® are trademarks of Vorwerk.

preview_recipe

ChatGPT
Shows a recipe as a card with its Thermomix guided settings, so the user can check it before it is sent to Cookidoo. Read only: it stores nothing and contacts no other service. Use it when the user asks for a Thermomix recipe, or to turn a recipe into one for their Thermomix or Cookidoo. Write every step in Thermomix style with the setting in the text (for example "Chop 3 sec/speed 7." or "Cook 10 min/100°C/speed 1.") and list each setting in that step's settings with setting_text copied exactly from the text. Pass the full recipe in this call: name, servings, prep_minutes, total_minutes, every ingredient, every step. Pass language, the language of this conversation, so the card's labels are in the user's language. Every text field is plain text on one line: no line breaks, links or email addresses. Machine settings are always in °C, in temperature_c and in the setting text. Write every oven or other non-machine temperature in the step text and tips in °C too, or in °F only for a Cookidoo account registered in the United States. Only for recipes you write or the user's own recipe text, never for recipes copied from a website, a book, or Cookidoo. A recipe goes on the Cookidoo site of one country, and its link only opens for Cookidoo accounts on that country's site. The country normally comes from ChatGPT's location hint, so cookidoo_country is normally left out, and the card says which country it shows. cookidoo_country is passed, together with cookidoo_country_source "user_said_in_this_chat", only when the user has said in this conversation that their Cookidoo account is registered in a different country. It then stays the same for the rest of the conversation. The recipe goes in the tool call, not in your reply: the card shows the user all of it. After the card shows, reply with the one short sentence the result asks for. If a rule is broken the error names it: fix the recipe and call again.

ChatGPT
Publishes a recipe on Cookidoo under this plugin's own account and returns its public link. The recipe goes on the Cookidoo site of the user's country: the country of ChatGPT's location hint, or the one passed in cookidoo_country when the user has said their Cookidoo account is registered in a different country. Anyone with the link can open it, and the user cannot edit or remove it afterwards, so ask the user to confirm before sending. The user then opens the link while signed into Cookidoo and saves the recipe to their own account with its guided settings. No Cookidoo or Vorwerk login is needed from the user. Pass the same full recipe that was previewed, and language, the language of this conversation.
