Overview

Red Paper checks your documents for plagiarism and AI-written text inside ChatGPT, using your own checkplagiarism.ai account. Attach a PDF, DOCX, DOC, TXT or RTF file and ask ChatGPT to check it. Red Paper submits it to your account and shows a card with the scan progress. When the scan finishes (usually within 1-5 minutes) the card shows the overall similarity percentage and the AI-written text percentage, with buttons for the plagiarism report PDF, the AI-detection report PDF and the originality certificate. Attach up to 10 files at once to check them in a single batch. You can also ask for your recent reports or your remaining credit balance. Scans use the credits already in your checkplagiarism.ai account; credits are managed on the Red Paper website, not in ChatGPT. Made for students, researchers, educators and publishers who need an originality check before submitting or publishing. Every report also stays in My Reports on checkplagiarism.ai.

Return which Red Paper account is connected (account_email, account_name), how many scan credits it has left and when the subscription expires. A scan costs 1 credit per 250 words (rounded up), minimum 4 credits per document. Use when the user asks about their balance, whether they can afford a scan, or which Red Paper account / email / name is linked. Read-only: credits cannot be added, bought or topped up through this app or any other tool.

Check whether a Red Paper plagiarism scan has finished and return the similarity percentage, AI-text percentage and the report links once it is complete: report_url is the plagiarism/similarity report PDF and ai_report_url is the separate AI-written-text report PDF (ai_report_status tells whether it is ready); certificate_url is the originality certificate PDF. Use after submit_plagiarism_scan, when the user asks whether their scan is done, or when they ask for the AI report, the plagiarism report link or the certificate. wait_seconds (0-45) makes the call wait server-side for a result before returning.
