Overview

Moving a website or retiring a domain? RedirHub sets up permanent 301 redirects for whole domains or single paths, keeps HTTPS working, and imports hundreds of old-to-new URL mappings at once, previewed before anything changes. Connect it to manage every link in your RedirHub workspace from a conversation. - Redirect checker: trace any URL's redirects live — every hop's status code (301, 302, …), the final URL, response speed and the issues worth fixing (temporary redirects that should be permanent, chains, plain-HTTP hops, broken destinations, invalid certificates), with a shareable report. - Domain redirects: send an old domain, subdomain or path to a new URL with a 301, 302, 307 or 308, keeping the path and query string if you want. - Website migrations: import hundreds of old-to-new URL mappings at once. Bulk changes are always previewed first and only applied after you confirm. - Branded short links and dynamic QR codes on your own domain. QR codes come back as an image, and their destination can change after printing. - Domains: connect a domain, get the exact DNS records to add, and check live why a domain isn't working yet. - Insight: click statistics, raw access logs and the change history of each link (who changed what, and when). - Team: invite members and manage roles. You sign in to RedirHub, pick the workspace and choose what the assistant may do: read only, create and edit, delete, manage domains, or manage the workspace. You can disconnect it at any time from your RedirHub account.

Tools

add-member

ChatGPT
Invite one or more members to the current workspace by email. Requires manager role. An invitation email will be sent to each address.

bulk-import

ChatGPT
Import many links at once from JSON rows[], up to about 5,000 per call; this is how a website migration is created (handler "migration", one row per old URL). Each row needs "url" and may set "handler": "redirect" (default), "migration" or "short-url". mode=create (default) skips source URLs that already exist; mode=upsert replaces them. Runs as a dry run by default: it validates the rows and imports nothing. Call again with dry_run=false to import; mode=upsert also needs the confirmation_token of the dry run with the same rows. The rows count against the plan's link limit. Requires editor role.

check-host-dns

ChatGPT
Look up a custom domain's DNS live, right now, and compare it with the records the domain needs. Returns, for each setup path (CNAME, IP+TXT, NS delegation), the required records and whether each one is live (null when the nameservers could not be looked up); the live records (A/CNAME, TXT, and the nameservers of the root domain); and the records the last scheduled check saw. Use it to find out why a domain does not work yet. Nothing is saved: the domain status changes only on the next DNS check.

connect-host

ChatGPT
Connect a domain to your workspace. Supports root (example.com), subdomain (sub.example.com), and wildcard (*.example.com) domains. Optionally enable or disable short links for the domain. When the domain is already connected to the workspace, its settings are updated: https_requested (default true) and short_links_enabled when given. Requires editor role, or manager role when short_links_enabled is set.

create-qr-code

ChatGPT
Create a dynamic QR code: a short link on one of the workspace's short-link domains, e.g. "go.example.com/menu", whose destination can change after printing. Returns the created link and the QR code image in the default style, as the dashboard draws it; the style can be changed in the dashboard. list-hosts with short_links_enabled=true lists the domains that can be used. Requires editor role.

create-redirect

ChatGPT
Create a domain redirect: send a source URL (a domain, subdomain or path, e.g. "old.example.com" or "example.com/pricing") to a destination URL. To move a whole website, many URLs at once, use bulk-import with handler "migration" instead. Returns the created link. Requires editor role. API reference for the same create (POST /links): https://www.redirhub.com/docs/reference/links-store

get-access-logs

ChatGPT
Get raw HTTP request logs. Returns individual visit records (timestamp, IP, user agent, country, browser, referrer, etc.) from the raw access log — not aggregated statistics. Optional file filter (link path). Without it, returns requests across all links in the workspace. Optional date_from+date_to (YYYY-MM-DD, defaults to last 7 days); logs cover at most the last 14 days, except on Enterprise. Other optional filters: country, handler, browser, device, referrer, search (IP or UA). Set bot_free to true to exclude automated traffic (crawlers, scanners, bots). Pagination via cursor (ISO timestamp of the last result).

get-account

ChatGPT
Get the profile of the signed-in user: name, email, language, timezone, country and current workspace.

get-host

ChatGPT
Get one custom domain of the current workspace by hostname, with its DNS status, the DNS records it needs, HTTPS status (state, last error, and the certificates we hold for it with expiry and whether www is covered) and short-link setting.

get-qr-code

ChatGPT
Get the QR code of a link as a PNG image, drawn exactly as the dashboard draws it: the link's saved QR style, the workspace logo when the style asks for it, and the readable link under the code. The code encodes the link with ?utm_source=qr, so scans are counted apart from clicks. For print files, GET /v1/links/{id}/qr serves the same code as SVG or as a PNG up to 2048 px wide.

get-stats

ChatGPT
Get analytics (click) data for the current workspace. Two modes, chosen automatically: - Link-level: set file (single link path like "/promo") or files (compare up to 10). Returns per-link clicks for the period, a daily trend, and optional breakdowns (country, city, browser, device, referrer, proto). - Org-level: omit file/files. Returns total clicks, unique visitors, active/total link counts, and optional breakdowns (file ranking, handler split). Time range: pass either time_range (7d, 30d, 90d, 180d, this_month, last_month; default 30d) OR a custom date_from+date_to (YYYY-MM-DD). Optional handler filter (redirect or short-url) and limit (per-breakdown, default 10, max 50). Clicks and the trend reach back as far as the plan's analytics history (90 days; 6 months on plans with more analytics history). Breakdowns cover at most the last 14 days, except on Enterprise (see breakdown_period). Earlier dates are cut off.

get-workspace

ChatGPT
Get the current workspace (organization): its name, level and settings, the counts of its links, and visits_this_month: the clicks of the current calendar month (UTC), in total and per link kind. The monthly count is there even when the workspace has no click analytics.

list-hosts

ChatGPT
List the custom domains (hosts) connected to the current workspace, newest first, with their DNS, HTTPS (state and stored certificates) and short-link status. Follow next_cursor for more pages.

list-members

ChatGPT
List the members of the current workspace with their role (viewer, editor or manager). Each member carries its id, which update-member and remove-member take.

refresh-host

ChatGPT
Re-check the DNS of one of the workspace's custom domains now and save the result, as the scheduled check does: the domain is switched on when its DNS points to us and off when it no longer does, and HTTPS certificates are requested when needed. Returns whether the DNS is correct, whether HTTPS is requested and when the domain was checked.

remove-member

ChatGPT
Remove a member from the current workspace. Requires manager role. The removed user loses access immediately.

trace-redirect-chain

ChatGPT
Trace any URL's redirects, live: each hop with its status code (301, 302, ...), the final URL and status, how fast the first response came (median time to first byte), who served it, how it ranks against every redirect tested in the last 7 days, and the issues worth fixing (temporary redirect where a permanent one belongs, a chain of several hops, a hop over plain HTTP, a broken destination, an invalid certificate). Use it to check a redirect, expand a short link, trace a chain or measure redirect speed; give compare_with to measure a second URL side by side. Every answer has a report_url: a public page with the chart and the chain, to share with the user; anyone with the link can open it, so do not trace URLs whose path or query holds private data. Works for any public URL on every plan. A hop that is a link of the current workspace comes with its link_id: offer to fix it with update-link (e.g. type 301, or the final destination to cut a chain). For a URL not in the workspace, offer create-redirect.

update-account

ChatGPT
Update a profile setting for the currently authenticated user. Supported keys: name, language, currency, timezone, current_workspace, login_workspace, country, phone, im.

update-host

ChatGPT
Update settings for a custom domain: toggle HTTPS, and enable or disable short links. Requires editor role, or manager role when short_links_enabled is set.

update-member

ChatGPT
Update a workspace member's role. Requires manager role. Valid roles: viewer, editor, manager.

update-workspace

ChatGPT
Update workspace settings. Supported keys: name, country, email, billing_extra, email_summary, email_host_status, email_manager. Requires manager role.
