compare_products
ChatGPTCompare 2-5 products side by side with a unified spec matrix.
create_inquiry
ChatGPTCreate an internal inquiry record for the authenticated catalog account after explicit confirmation. Use open_inquiry_form to collect and review the fields. The receipt is pending recipient verification; no supplier messages, orders or payments are sent. Submitted inquiries are read-only: no drafts, edits or cancellation. Reuse request_id to retry a lost receipt.
get_inquiry
ChatGPTRead an inquiry owned by this account, including per-supplier delivery status, recorded quotes and recent activity. Submitted inquiries are read-only for buyers; do not offer drafts, edits or cancellation. Unknown prices or contacts must remain unknown. A quote is not an order or payment.
get_product
ChatGPTGet full detail for one product, including its supplier summary.
get_sourcing_context
ChatGPTRead the current RFQMind selection, active view, and unsubmitted form revision using the context_id from this conversation. Use before resolving "these", "this company", changing a form, or after a version conflict. Never use a context from another conversation or guess an ID. Contact values and attachment contents are not exposed.
get_supplier
ChatGPTFactory research: supplier profile (location, markets, audited status, badges, product count) plus sample products.
list_inquiries
ChatGPTList this account’s submitted inquiries with current processing and delivery states. pending_recipient means recorded internally, not sent. Use get_inquiry to read supplier replies, quotes and changes.
list_inquiry_updates
ChatGPTRead new inquiry activity and recorded quotes for this account. The first call starts from account history; save the returned cursor and reuse it to check subsequent updates. This is a polling API, not a background ChatGPT push notification.
list_supplier_products
ChatGPTList a supplier's products (paged).
open_inquiry_form
ChatGPTOpen the English inquiry form once for selected catalog product_ids, supplier_id or supplier_ids (up to five companies). Group products under their supplier. Pass the current context_id to preserve the selection. Quantity is per item; use quantities for individual lines. For an already open form use update_inquiry_form to change fields without losing entries or attachments. Use IDs already returned by search; do not search again for a known product. One successful call opens the form and prefills the supplied fields. Allow the host to render it; do not call again because the widget is still loading. Quantity, destination and note must be strings. Use for 发起询盘 or 加入询盘 or a request to fill an inquiry form; do not replace it with an email draft. The form collects company, company email, optional WhatsApp, quantity, destination, requirements and optional file attachments. Do not ask for Telegram, unit, delivery date, target price, trade terms, currency or inquiry type. Pass user-stated quantity, destination and note to prefill the form. Pass company name, email and WhatsApp in buyer_profile using company, company_email and whatsapp; omit unknown fields. These values override the saved profile for this form only. There are no drafts. Buyers confirm once to submit; submitted inquiries cannot be edited or cancelled. Reads the account profile without saving or sending anything.
search_products
ChatGPTUse this to find products for a stated sourcing requirement. This tool directly includes the interactive product-card UI; a separate rendering tool is not required. Let the host display the cards and provide a short useful summary. Do not infer unsupported cards from the absence of a render tool. Start with one focused search for the user's product requirement and inspect the results before searching again. Stop when enough relevant candidates are available. Unless the user explicitly requests broader research or more results, make at most two searches per sourcing request; use a second search only for no matches, clearly irrelevant matches, or too few suitable candidates for the requested shortlist. Do not fan out into synonyms or related product categories. Preserve exact model numbers and required constraints when rephrasing. An empty result means no match in this catalog, not that no supplier exists. On authentication or service errors, report the issue instead of trying alternative keywords. Use identifier for an exact part/model number and q for concise product keywords. Use domain or category only with an exact value returned by the catalog; omit them for ordinary intent words such as “bicycle” or “machinery”. Use audited only when the user explicitly asks for audited suppliers.
search_suppliers
ChatGPTThis tool directly includes an interactive company-card UI for the host to render; no separate rendering call is required. Do not claim company cards are unsupported based on the tool list. Find companies by matching product requirements, grouped once per supplier and ranked by their strongest matching product. Use for requests to find factories, not another product search. Use verification_label (Verified) for audited suppliers and supplier_type for manufacturer or trading-company classification. A supplier audit label does not establish product certification. Preserve query/filters with next_cursor for more companies; do not broaden keywords to paginate.
update_inquiry_form
ChatGPTUpdate only explicitly requested fields of the currently open, unsubmitted inquiry form. First read get_sourcing_context for form_id and form_revision. Preserve all other fields, selection and attachments. Do not reopen the form. This does not submit or contact anyone. Quantity applies to each selected item; use quantities for individual products or supplier-only lines. Ask if total versus per-item quantity is ambiguous. Submitted inquiries cannot be changed. When the user asks to attach files already uploaded in ChatGPT, pass only host-authorized files in files; these are copied into the form and listed before confirmation.
update_sourcing_selection
ChatGPTAdd or remove products/companies from the current selection, only when requested. Use catalog IDs already returned. This is a temporary selection, not an inquiry, order or supplier contact. Five products and five companies maximum. Clearing requires the current revision; additions/removals preserve other selections.
