Rooster Wake
by Puresoft Ltd
Overview
Rooster Wake lets Claude reach the computers you already own. Ask it to wake a machine that's asleep, check what's up right now, hold a machine awake for exactly as long as you need, or put it back to sleep when you're done — each machine answered by name, from any Claude chat on any device. The headline act is Remote AI: one request wakes your dev machine, holds it awake, starts Claude Code headlessly in a folder you registered in advance, and hands you the live session in the Claude app. Your machine sleeps until you want it — no desktop left running around the clock, no remote-desktop window on a phone screen just to type one command. How it works: waking is a Wake-on-LAN broadcast on your own network, sent by an emitter that is awake — the free Rooster Wake agent on any machine that stays on, or our optional dongle. The agent also reports presence honestly (up, asleep as of when, restarting) and carries the power verbs. Sleep always asks you to confirm; there is deliberately no shutdown by voice or chat. What you need: a free Rooster Wake account, and the agent installed on the PCs you want to reach. Remote AI sessions additionally need Claude Code installed and signed in on the machine (your install, your Anthropic account — we start and stop the process and never see the conversation or your credentials). Waking is free; power actions and unmetered sessions ride the paid plans, and every plan includes three Remote AI sessions a month.
