Overview
Runa brings your authorized meeting knowledge into ChatGPT. Search meeting summaries and approved folder documents, retrieve recent or topic-matched meetings, review decisions and key takeaways, list open action items, and prepare for upcoming meetings using Runa’s latest synchronized calendar context. Runa is read-only in ChatGPT. It cannot edit meetings, complete action items, or send messages. Results are limited by the connected user’s Runa access, workspace external-AI policy, and Runa’s public connector safety controls. A Runa account is required. Upcoming meeting info reflects Runa’s latest desktop sync and may not be live.
Tools
Fetch one Runa item by its runa:// resource id. For a meeting this returns the summary, key takeaways, action items, AND the full verbatim transcript when the connection was granted transcript access. A very long transcript is cut, and the result says how to read the rest. For folder documents it returns the extracted text. Access is re-checked on every call.
meetings_find_quotes
ChatGPTFind the exact spots in ONE meeting’s transcript where a phrase was said — verbatim source grounding, not semantic search. For questions such as “where exactly did they say that?” or “what timestamp supports that?”. Returns the matching transcript lines with speaker, timestamp, and surrounding context. Requires the runa.transcripts.read permission.
meetings_get_last
ChatGPTReturn the user’s most recent recorded meeting by date, chosen by deterministic chronological order — NOT semantic search. For questions such as “what was my last meeting?”, “my latest meeting”, or “what did I just attend?”. Returns one meeting with summary, key takeaways, action items, and the full transcript when the connection was granted transcript access, plus a selection_method showing it was picked by date.
meetings_get_last_matching
ChatGPTFind the most recent meeting matching a topic and/or participant. It first narrows candidates (semantic topic search and/or participant match), then returns the chronologically latest match — for questions such as “what was my last meeting about X?” or “my latest call with Y”. Takes topic_query, participant_query, or both. The winning meeting comes back with its full transcript when the connection was granted transcript access.
meetings_list
ChatGPTList the user’s recorded meetings in reverse-chronological order (newest first), ordered strictly by date — not relevance. For questions such as “what meetings did I have today/this week?” or “the meeting before that”. Supports an optional date range and cursor pagination: a response with more meetings carries next_cursor.
meetings_upcoming
ChatGPTList the user’s UPCOMING calendar meetings, soonest first — future/scheduled meetings from their connected calendar, NOT past recorded meetings. For questions such as “what’s my next meeting?” or “what’s on my calendar this week?”. The next week is read live from the main Google and Outlook calendars the user connected to Runa when it can be, and the Runa desktop’s last calendar sync covers the rest. selection_method.source says which, and as_of how current the list is. All-day entries such as holidays are left out.
runa_basecamp_my_assignments
ChatGPTThe open Basecamp items assigned to the connected user, each with its due date, project, and link, optionally only those in one due window. Returns one bounded list.
runa_basecamp_search
ChatGPTSearch Basecamp messages, to-dos, documents, and other items by text in the account the user connected to Runa, optionally within one project. Returns one bounded list; Basecamp gives no cursor, so it cannot be continued.
runa_fetch_resource_page
ChatGPTPage through a large Runa resource part — a meeting transcript (requires the runa.transcripts.read permission) or a folder document’s text — OR fetch one live record from a connected third-party app with part="record" and a runa://app/… uri. Returns one bounded page plus an opaque cursor for the next; every page re-checks access and policy, so a resource that was readable at search time is verified again here. Transcripts page on segment boundaries with speaker + timestamp. The cursor a cut transcript carries resumes paging where that transcript stopped, and the resource is fully read once has_more is false.
runa_find_experts
ChatGPTFind active colleagues who demonstrably know a topic, such as “enterprise procurement”. Ranks only people with qualifying evidence the caller can currently access. Returns why Runa thinks each person knows it, the relevant meetings/projects/documents/notes, last relevant activity, confidence, per-source visibility, and exact evidence locators. This is evidence confidence—not a performance, intelligence, seniority, or employee score.
runa_get_company_memory
ChatGPTGet what Runa knows about a company by domain: the user’s saved notes (private memory, plus org memory for orgs they belong to), dated facts extracted from meetings (deal stage, contract status, competitors — each with confidence and how it changed over time), and the relationship dossier (meeting count and cadence, the people the user knows there, open commitments and questions, recent meeting timeline).
runa_gmail_read_inbox
ChatGPTA window of the user’s recent Gmail inbox, read live from every Gmail account they connected to Runa, each block naming its mailbox — what arrived, or only the threads they have not answered. Inbox only (promotions and social are excluded), 1–30 days back, one page per call: a result with
next_cursor has more of the window, and the same call with that value as cursor returns the next page.runa_gmail_search
ChatGPTRecent Gmail correspondence between the user and one person, read live from every Gmail account the user connected to Runa: up to 6 recent messages per mailbox with sender, date, subject, a bounded excerpt, and a Gmail link. Runa never searches a whole mailbox, so older correspondence with that person exists and is not returned.
runa_google_drive_search
ChatGPTSearch the Google Drive files the user shared with Runa — never the rest of their Drive — by words in the name or contents, across every Google account they connected, optionally by file kind, modified date, or owner. One page per call (a result with
next_cursor continues with that value as cursor); an empty result is not proof a file does not exist in their Drive.runa_hubspot_search
ChatGPTSearch one HubSpot CRM object type — contacts, companies, deals, tickets, or a custom object — in the portal the user connected to Runa, by free text, property filters, and sort, with the connected user’s HubSpot permissions. One line per record with its HubSpot link; up to
limit records, and when more match the result states the total and the after value that continues the search.runa_linear_list_issues
ChatGPTLinear issues from the workspace the user connected to Runa, filtered by assignee, team, project, cycle, status, or label — issues that are not done unless a status says otherwise. Returns up to
limit issues; Linear gives no cursor here, so a capped list cannot be continued.runa_linear_search_issues
ChatGPTFull-text search over Linear issue titles, descriptions, and comments in the workspace the user connected to Runa, optionally narrowed by assignee, team, project, cycle, status, or label. Returns up to
limit issues, with no cursor to continue past that.runa_list_action_items
ChatGPTList action items from the user’s accessible meetings, newest first. Defaults to open (incomplete) items. The
owner filter answers “what did X commit to” or “what do I owe”, matching the person’s name as it appears in the meeting. Read-only: it can never complete, edit, or create items.runa_lookup_person
ChatGPTLook up what Runa knows about a person in the user’s own people memory: profile fields, current facts (with confidence and effective dates), a fact_history of superseded facts, and the person’s recent accessible meetings. Verbatim source quotes additionally require the runa.transcripts.read permission and live access to the quoted meeting. Scoped to the caller’s people only.
runa_notion_search
ChatGPTSearch the Notion pages and databases the user shared with the Runa connection, newest-edited first. Only what was shared with Runa on Notion’s authorize screen is visible, so an empty result means “not shared with Runa”, not “does not exist”.
runa_outlook_read_inbox
ChatGPTA window of the user’s recent Outlook inbox, read live from every Outlook account they connected to Runa, each block naming its mailbox — what arrived, or only the threads they have not answered. Inbox only (promotions and social are excluded), 1–30 days back, one page per call: a result with
next_cursor has more of the window, and the same call with that value as cursor returns the next page.runa_outlook_search
ChatGPTRecent Outlook correspondence between the user and one person, read live from every Outlook account the user connected to Runa: up to 6 recent messages per mailbox with sender, date, subject, a bounded excerpt, and a Outlook link. Runa never searches a whole mailbox, so older correspondence with that person exists and is not returned.
runa_query_organizational_memory
ChatGPTAnswer “What did we decide?”, “What changed?”, “What is blocked?”, and “Who committed to this?” from first-class organizational records. Returns the current permission-aware answer plus the underlying decisions, commitments, blockers, risks, changes, and reversals. Every record carries direct evidence with an exact transcript, document, or note locator and a source visibility label. Access is re-checked by Runa on every call; deleted or revoked sources cannot remain retrievable.
runa_salesforce_query
ChatGPTRun one read-only SOQL SELECT against the Salesforce org the user connected to Runa, under the connected user’s field-level security and sharing rules. A query without LIMIT gets LIMIT 50; LIMIT and OFFSET page through larger results, and SELECT FIELDS(STANDARD) FROM <Object> LIMIT 50 lists a standard object’s fields.
runa_search_everything
ChatGPTOne search across everything this connection can read: Runa’s meetings, transcripts, notes, and documents, plus the apps the user connected to Runa — Gmail, Outlook, their Google and Outlook calendars, HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack, Google Drive, Notion, Linear, and Basecamp — each read live. Results come back grouped by source, and each source states what it covered: a stated window, a page with more to read (
next_cursor), or not searched and why. Keyword queries — a company, person, project, or topic — work best, because each app matches words its own way.runa_search_knowledge
ChatGPTAdvanced semantic search with Runa-specific filters — result limit, source types, and a date range. Returns rich snippets with scores and chunk metadata, ranked by relevance rather than date.
runa_slack_list_channels
ChatGPTThe Slack channels Runa was added to in the workspace the user connected, with each channel’s name and id. Only these channels can be read message by message.
runa_slack_read_channel
ChatGPTRecent messages in one Slack channel Runa was added to, newest first, with author, date, and a link per message. Slack serves only a bounded recent window, which cannot be paged further back.
search
ChatGPTSemantic search over the authenticated Runa user’s accessible meeting knowledge — meeting summaries, notes, and uploaded folder documents. Results are ranked by relevance, NOT by date, and each carries a runa:// id for the full item. For topic and content questions such as “where did we discuss X”.
