accounts__get_plan_and_usage
ChatGPTGet the current user's effective SESAM plan, capabilities, limits, and usage. Use this read-only tool before Builder, simulation, or upload operations. It returns the public plan name and feature availability; maximum Builder area; maximum and default scenario duration; custom-upload size and daily quota; simulation daily quota; storage retention; and current usage and remaining daily quota. Limit or remaining values of null mean unlimited.
analyzer__compare_simulations
ChatGPTCompare a variant simulation with a baseline, e.g. after changing a scenario. Reports the change of the key figures (SUMO run statistics and, when `tripinfo` exists, trip durations, time loss and waiting time) and the edges that got worse or better in one edge measure, with street name and position. Each side uses the aggregate of its successful runs; when both aggregate at least two runs a Welch t statistic shows whether an edge change exceeds the spread between runs. Edges are matched by ID, so the scenarios should share their network.
analyzer__find_congestion_hotspots
ChatGPTFind the edges with the worst congestion of a simulation, with street name and position. Edges are sorted by one SUMO edge measure. Each edge comes with its street name, the latitude and longitude of its midpoint, lane count, speed limits and all of its measures. The aggregate over several runs also reports the standard deviation between the runs. Needs the `meandata` output.
analyzer__find_trips
ChatGPTFind individual trips, e.g. the trips with the highest time loss or vehicles that did not finish. Filter by kind, class, type, completion, ID, minimum metrics and departure window, then sort and limit. Values of uncompleted trips are partial. In the aggregate over several runs every value is the mean of the runs. Use `analyzer__get_trip_statistics for distributions. Needs the tripinfo` output.
analyzer__get_edge_results
ChatGPTGet the measured traffic of specific edges, selected by edge IDs, street name or area. Set at least one of `edge_ids, street_name_contains and bounding_box. The edges are sorted by time loss, highest first. Each edge comes with its street name, position, lane count, speed limits and all SUMO edge measures. Use analyzer__find_congestion_hotspots to find edges by their values. Needs the meandata` output.
analyzer__get_network_summary
ChatGPTSummarize the road network of a simulation: element counts, length, speed limits and bounds. Reports the number of edges, lanes, junctions and traffic lights, the total edge length, how that length splits over speed limits and the bounding box in degrees. The network is the same for all runs of a simulation.
analyzer__get_simulation_results
ChatGPTStart here to analyze a simulation: which outputs exist, the runs and their key figures. Returns the status and SUMO statistics of the runs (vehicles, teleports, collisions, mean speed, mean time loss, ...) and shows which outputs the simulation produced, because the other analyzer tools need them (`tripinfo for trips, meandata for edge results, vehroutes for routes). Without run_id` and with at least two successful runs the key figures are also aggregated over the runs as mean, standard deviation and number of runs.
analyzer__get_trip_statistics
ChatGPTGet distribution statistics of the trips of a simulation, optionally grouped. For duration, time loss, waiting time and route length it reports count, mean, median, P90, P95 and maximum. Trips that were still under way when the simulation ended are counted as uncompleted and excluded from the distributions. Needs the `tripinfo` output.
analyzer__get_vehicle_routes
ChatGPTGet the routes of specific vehicles as edge IDs and street names. Take the vehicle IDs from `analyzer__find_trips. Routes can differ between runs, so run_id is required when the simulation has more than one successful run. Duration and route length are added when the tripinfo output exists. Needs the vehroutes` output.
builder__build_custom_scenario
ChatGPTBuild a new SESAM scenario and wait until it is available in the user's workspace. Use this tool to create a scenario from SESAM's OpenStreetMap mirror for a geographic bounding box. Random traffic can optionally be configured under `demand.random_traffic (one entry per transport mode), and individual traffic flows between two coordinates under demand.flows. The build may take a few minutes and reports progress while SESAM is working. The tool waits up to 10 minutes. If that is exceeded, the build keeps running in SESAM and the scenario appears in workspace__list_scenarios` once it has finished. SESAM validates all parameters and the limits of the user's plan. Validation errors are returned unchanged so that the request can be corrected. This tool creates the scenario only. It does not run a traffic simulation.
builder__find_area
ChatGPTFind the bounding box of a scenario area around a street intersection, an address, a place or a coordinate. Use this tool before `builder__build_custom_scenario when the user names a location instead of coordinates. By default the area grows around the anchor until every one of its four sides is crossed by two other streets, so that traffic has alternative routes in every direction. It never exceeds the area limit of the user's plan. Names are matched tolerantly (Str. equals Straße, umlauts may be written ae, oe, ue). If several places match, the status is ambiguous and candidates lists them without an area: ask the user which one is meant, or repeat the call with a more specific context or with the coordinates of a candidate. If nothing matches, the status is not_found. Check warnings, anchor.precision and satisfied before using the area. Pass bounds unchanged to builder__build_custom_scenario and suggested_scenario_name as its name. If the user wants to look at the area or configure the scenario in the web interface, give them builder_url`. This tool only reads map data and does not create anything. The map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL); mention that when showing it.
simulator__run_simulation
ChatGPTRun a traffic simulation of a scenario and wait until it has finished. The simulation is created in the user's workspace and executed by SUMO on SESAM's cluster. The tool waits up to 1 hour and reports progress. If that is exceeded, the simulation keeps running in SESAM; follow it with `workspace__list_simulations and workspace__get_simulation. Unset options use SESAM's defaults: 1 run, time step 1 s, lateral resolution -1 (sublane model off), no warm-up, random seeds. The allowed time step lengths and lateral resolutions are specific to each scenario; see properties of workspace__get_scenario. SESAM validates all parameters and the limits of the user's plan; every run counts against the daily simulation quota. Errors are returned unchanged so that the request can be corrected; use accounts__get_plan_and_usage` to check the plan and the remaining quota. Traffic scaling is not a simulation option; it is part of the scenario.
workspace__create_project
ChatGPTCreate a project in the SESAM workspace of the current user. Projects organize related scenarios. The returned project ID can be used when building a scenario that should belong to this project.
workspace__duplicate_scenario
ChatGPTCreate a copy of a scenario in the current user's SESAM workspace. The copy contains the scenario data but none of its simulations. Without `new_name` SESAM appends " (Copy)" to the name of the original.
workspace__export_scenario_zip
ChatGPTExport a scenario as a ZIP archive and return a download link for the user. SESAM creates the archive in the background; the tool waits up to 2 minutes for it and reports progress. Give the returned `download_url to the user, who can open it in a browser. Anyone with the link can download the archive. The export depends on the user's SESAM plan; if it is refused, check the plan with accounts__get_plan_and_usage`.
workspace__export_simulation_zip
ChatGPTExport the outputs of all runs of a simulation as one ZIP archive and return a download link. SESAM creates the archive in the background; the tool waits up to 10 minutes for it and reports progress. Give the returned `download_url to the user, who can open it in a browser. Anyone with the link can download the archive. The export depends on the user's SESAM plan; if it is refused, check the plan with accounts__get_plan_and_usage`.
workspace__get_scenario
ChatGPTGet the details of a scenario in the SESAM workspace of the current user. In addition to the summary returned by `workspace__list_scenarios`, this includes the coordinate system, traffic demand counts, vehicle types, the rerouting configuration and the build log, which helps to diagnose a failed scenario.
workspace__get_simulation
ChatGPTGet a simulation with its configuration, runs and run statistics. Each run reports its status, runtime and the statistics SUMO produced. A simulation that is still `processing` can be polled with this tool.
workspace__get_traffic_lights
ChatGPTGet the traffic lights of a scenario with their controllers, junctions and signal plans. Each controller lists the junctions it governs (a joined traffic light governs several), its default program and all programs with type, cycle time and offset. Set `include_phases` for the phase durations and signal states of the programs. This describes the current state of the scenario and works for every plan.
workspace__list_projects
ChatGPTList the projects in the SESAM workspace of the current user. Use this tool to find a project ID when another SESAM operation, such as building a scenario, should assign the resulting object to an existing project.
workspace__list_scenarios
ChatGPTList the scenarios in the SESAM workspace of the current user. Use this tool to discover existing scenarios and their IDs for subsequent SESAM operations. Optionally restrict the result to scenarios whose name contains `name_contains (case-insensitive) and/or that belong to the project project_id`.
workspace__list_simulations
ChatGPTList the simulations in the SESAM workspace of the current user, newest first. Optionally restrict the result to the simulations of one scenario and/or to simulations whose name contains `name_contains (case-insensitive). Use workspace__get_simulation` for the runs and their statistics.
workspace__remove_project
ChatGPTPermanently remove a project from the current user's SESAM workspace. Removing a project also permanently deletes every scenario assigned to it, including dependent simulations and stored data. For a non-empty project, `confirm_delete_contents` must explicitly be set to true.
workspace__remove_scenario
ChatGPTPermanently remove a scenario from the current user's SESAM workspace. Removing a scenario also permanently deletes every simulation and simulation run based on it, including stored data. When dependent simulations exist, `confirm_delete_contents` must explicitly be set to true.
workspace__remove_simulation
ChatGPTPermanently remove a simulation from the current user's SESAM workspace. Removing a simulation permanently deletes all of its runs and their output files. When runs exist, `confirm_delete_runs` must explicitly be set to true. A simulation that is still running cannot be removed.
workspace__update_scenario
ChatGPTChange the name, comment or project of a scenario in the current user's SESAM workspace. Given properties overwrite their existing values; at least one must be set. The comment is replaced, not appended: read the current comment with `workspace__get_scenario first if it should be kept. Use project_id to move the scenario into a project, or remove_from_project=true` to take it out of its project.
workspace__update_simulation
ChatGPTChange the name or the comment of a simulation in the current user's SESAM workspace. Given properties overwrite their existing values; at least one must be set. The comment is replaced, not appended: read the current comment with `workspace__get_simulation` first if it should be kept.
workspace__upload_scenario
ChatGPTCreate a scenario in the user's SESAM workspace from a SUMO scenario ZIP archive at a public https URL. SESAM downloads the archive from `source_url and processes it in the background; the tool waits up to 10 minutes and reports progress. Unset options use SESAM's defaults (begin 0 s, duration 600 s, time-step lengths [0.5, 1], lateral resolutions [-1, 1.6]). Uploads depend on the user's SESAM plan, which also limits the file size and the number of uploads per day. They are checked before anything is downloaded; use accounts__get_plan_and_usage` to see the limits. Validation errors of SESAM are returned unchanged. This tool creates the scenario only. It does not run a traffic simulation.
