Overview

SiteSpeak lets you build an AI chatbot that answers your customers' questions from your own website, documents and help content. This plugin brings your SiteSpeak account into ChatGPT. With the plugin you can: - Read your chatbot inbox, search conversations and mark them as done. - Reply to a website visitor as a human agent. ChatGPT can draft the reply, and it sends only after you approve it. - See the leads that visitors left in the chat, with their contact details. - Check analytics: conversations per day, answer rate, feedback, top questions and the questions your chatbot could not answer. - Add a web page to your chatbot's knowledge, or recrawl a page to update it. - Change chatbot settings and suggested messages. Open the SiteSpeak app from the ChatGPT sidebar or beside a conversation to work in a full dashboard with Inbox, Leads, Analytics and Knowledge tabs. You need a SiteSpeak account. Sign in with your SiteSpeak login when you connect the plugin. The plugin can only see the chatbots that your account can access.

add_suggested_message

Add a suggested message (a clickable prompt shown to visitors). For type "ai" (default) provide a prompt - the message sent when clicked. For redirect/email types provide an action (a URL or email address).

get_chatbot

Get a chatbot's current settings plus the models allowed on its plan and the credit cost per model. Read this before changing settings.

get_chatbot_analytics

Get a chatbot's analytics for a period: conversation volume, feedback, answered-question %, negative-sentiment %, popular sources/categories, top countries.

get_chatbot_insights

Get AI-clustered question themes for a chatbot: top unanswered questions (knowledge/source gaps) and top answered questions. Use unanswered themes to suggest new content and messages.

get_thread_messages

Get the messages in one inbox thread (visitor), oldest first. Returns the most recent messages by default; use offset with has_older to page back through long threads.

list_chatbots

List the chatbots your account can manage (your current team's chatbots). Returns each chatbot id, name and type. Use the id with the other tools.

list_inbox_threads

List inbox conversation threads for a chatbot. Filter by status (open/closed/all) and feedback (positive/negative), and search message text.

list_leads

List a chatbot's captured leads (visitors who submitted an email or phone via the lead-capture form). Newest first, paginated 50 per page.

reply_to_thread

Send a human agent reply to the visitor in an inbox thread. The visitor sees it in the chat widget (and on WhatsApp or Google Chat for those channels), and it starts a 30-minute live chat. Only send text the user has approved.
