Overview

The Superlist connector brings your tasks, lists, and projects into Claude, so you can plan and act on your work without leaving the conversation. Superlist is a collaborative task manager for people and teams. With this connector, Claude can see what is on your plate, capture new work as it comes up, and keep your lists current. Ask what is due today, turn meeting notes into a structured list, reassign work across your team, or tidy up a project that has drifted out of date. Key features Capture tasks: add a single task, or create a whole list of tasks at once from notes, a transcript, or a conversation. Tasks support due dates in your local timezone and repeat rules for recurring work. Stay on top of your day: pull up your Today view and your Inbox to see what is due and what still needs sorting. Search your workspace: find any task or list by keyword before acting on it, so updates land on the right item. Organize lists: create, rename, update, and delete lists. Move tasks between lists, and add or remove labels to keep everything grouped the way you work. Collaborate: assign and unassign tasks to teammates, and share or unshare lists with the people who need them. Complete and clean up: mark tasks done, edit their titles and details, or delete items you no longer need. Everything runs against your live Superlist account, so what Claude sees is what you see in the app, and any change made through Claude shows up instantly for you and your collaborators.

Tools

add_label

ChatGPT
Adds a label to a task, or to several tasks in one call. Provide exactly one of task_uuid (with label) for a single task, or labels for several — never both. Prefer labels when the user asks to label more than one task, so the whole change is applied as one operation.

add_list

ChatGPT
Creates a new list. To create a list with tasks, pass them all at once in content as GitHub-flavoured markdown task items (e.g. - [ ] First task\n- [ ] Second task) — this seeds the whole list in a single call. Prefer this over creating an empty list and then calling add_task repeatedly. To build a tree of lists, create the parent first, then create each child with parent_list_uuid set to the parent's uuid.

add_message

ChatGPT
Posts a message to a task's message thread (the chat collaborators see under "Leave a message…"), as the current user. Use it to reply to or ask collaborators something on a task; everyone following the task is notified. To change the task's notes use update_task instead. Read the thread first with get_messages.

add_task

ChatGPT
Creates a task, or several tasks in one call. A task can be created fully-formed — with a due date, repetition, priority and labels — so there is no need to follow up with update_task or add_label. Provide exactly one of title (single task) or tasks (several) — never both. Prefer tasks when the user asks for more than one task, so they are created as one operation. The exception: for many plain tasks going into a single list, with no per-task due dates or repetition, GitHub-flavoured markdown task items in the content of add_list (new list) or update_list (existing list) are cheaper.

assign_task

ChatGPT
Assigns a task to a user. Provide exactly one of assignee_uuid or assignee_email. Assigning a user grants them access to the task.

complete_task

ChatGPT
Marks a task as completed, or several tasks in one call. Recurring tasks are rolled forward to the next occurrence instead of being marked complete. Provide exactly one of task_uuid (single task) or task_uuids (several) — never both. Prefer task_uuids when the user asks to complete more than one task, so the whole change is applied as one operation. Check each result's outcome — a batch can mix completed and rolled_forward entries.

delete_list

ChatGPT
Deletes a list together with the tasks in it. Everything is moved to the trash rather than erased, so a delete made in error can be reversed with restore_list using the same list_uuid, which brings the tasks back as well.

delete_task

ChatGPT
Deletes a task, or several tasks in one call. Tasks are moved to the trash rather than erased, so a delete made in error can be reversed with restore_task using the same UUIDs. Provide exactly one of task_uuid (single task) or task_uuids (several) — never both. Prefer task_uuids when the user asks to delete more than one task, so the whole change is applied as one operation.

fetch

ChatGPT
Fetches the full content of a single task or list by the id returned from the search tool.

get_labels

ChatGPT
Returns the labels the user has used on tasks before — the same names the app offers in Settings → Labels. It may include some labels that are no longer on any task. Call it before adding labels with add_task or add_label, and reuse an existing label name instead of inventing a new one. Returns up to 100 unique labels, sorted alphabetically.

get_list

ChatGPT
Returns a single list with its tasks (in the order shown in the list, up to 100; truncation drops the bottom of the list), its sublists and parent list, and delta document contents rendered as Markdown (truncated to a hard cap). When tasks_truncated is true, use search to find specific tasks within the list.

get_lists

ChatGPT
Fetches lists accessible by the user, most-recently-updated first. Returns up to 100 lists; when truncated is true, use the search tool to find specific lists by title.

get_messages

ChatGPT
Returns the message thread of a task: the chat messages collaborators leave on it ("Leave a message…" in the apps), oldest first. These are separate from the task's notes returned by get_task. Deleted messages are omitted. To check back for replies, pass the newest synced_at you have seen as since; only messages created or edited after it are returned.

get_task

ChatGPT
Returns a single task with its details and notes (delta document contents) rendered as Markdown (truncated to a hard cap). The task's message thread is not included; use get_messages for that.

inbox

ChatGPT
Returns tasks from the user's inbox, most-recently-updated first. Returns up to 100 tasks; when truncated is true, use the search tool to find specific tasks.

move_task

ChatGPT
Moves an existing task into a different list, under another task as a subtask, or to the inbox — or moves several tasks in one call. Pass list_uuid to move into a list, or parent_task_uuid to make the task a subtask of another task — never both. If both are omitted (or list_uuid is null), the task is moved to the user's inbox. Works on subtasks too: a subtask can be moved out of its parent into a list, the inbox, or a different parent task. Provide exactly one of task_uuid (single task) or moves (several) — never both. Prefer moves when the user asks to move more than one task, so the whole change is applied as one operation.

remove_label

ChatGPT
Removes a label from a task, or from several tasks in one call. Provide exactly one of task_uuid (with label) for a single task, or labels for several — never both. Prefer labels when the user asks to unlabel more than one task, so the whole change is applied as one operation.

reopen_task

ChatGPT
Reopens a completed task, marking it as not completed, or several tasks in one call. Use it to undo complete_task. A task that is already open is left as it is and reported with outcome already_open. Deleted tasks must be restored with restore_task first. Provide exactly one of task_uuid (single task) or task_uuids (several) — never both. Prefer task_uuids when the user asks to reopen more than one task, so the whole change is applied as one operation.

restore_list

ChatGPT
Restores a list that was deleted with delete_list, bringing it back with its previous content. The tasks that delete_list moved to the trash together with the list come back with it. This does NOT restore a task that was deleted in its own right, before or after the list — call restore_task for each of those. Only works while the list is in the trash — once it has been permanently deleted it cannot be recovered.

restore_task

ChatGPT
Restores a task that was deleted with delete_task, or several in one call, bringing each back with its previous content and state. Only works while the task is in the trash — once it has been permanently deleted it cannot be recovered. Provide exactly one of task_uuid (single task) or task_uuids (several) — never both. Prefer task_uuids when the user asks to restore more than one task, so the whole change is applied as one operation.

share_list

ChatGPT
Shares a list with another user, granting them access. Provide exactly one of user_uuid or user_email. The actor must already have access to the list. Plan limits on shared list count and collaborators per list are enforced.

today

ChatGPT
Returns tasks due today or earlier that are assigned to you (or authored by you and unassigned), excluding completed, deleted, and archived tasks. Most-recently-updated first; returns up to 100 tasks. When truncated is true, use the search tool to find specific tasks.

unassign_task

ChatGPT
Removes the assignee from a task. The task itself remains unchanged otherwise.

unshare_list

ChatGPT
Removes a collaborator from a list, revoking their shared access. Provide exactly one of user_uuid or user_email. The actor must already have access to the list.

update_list

ChatGPT
Updates a list. Can change the title, emoji, or body content. This is also the way to add several tasks to an existing list at once — put them in content as GitHub-flavoured markdown task items rather than calling add_task repeatedly. Editing body content replaces it wholesale — to ADD to existing content, read it first with get_list and resend it with your additions.

update_task

ChatGPT
Updates a task, or several tasks in one call. Can change the title, due date, repetition, priority or body content. Provide exactly one of task_uuid (single task) or updates (several) — never both. Prefer updates when the user asks to change more than one task, so the whole change is applied as one operation. Editing body content replaces it wholesale — to ADD to existing content, read it first with get_task and resend it with your additions.

whoami

ChatGPT
Returns identity information about the authenticated Superlist user, including uuid, email, display name, and resolved timezone.
