Swath API
by VIBECODEBEAST
Overview
Swath API gives Claude radar-verified storm intelligence for the continental United States. It ingests NOAA MRMS radar data to detect hail and damaging-wind swaths as they happen, then maps each swath to the properties inside it — so you can go from "did it hail in Plano last night?" to a ranked list of affected addresses in one conversation. Seven tools: find_storms (search verified hail/wind events by place, date, or severity), get_swath_report (every property inside a storm swath with the hail size measured at each address and an exposure score), lookup_property (year built, roof-age estimate, owner-occupancy, and assessed value for one address), create_monitor and list_monitors (standing watches over your territory with email alerts and signed webhooks the moment a storm is radar-verified), show_swath_map (the swath footprint as a map), and get_usage (your credit balance). Built for roofing and restoration sales, insurance claims, real-estate diligence, and any workflow that needs ground truth about severe weather — measured by radar, never forecast. Data scope is deliberately compliance-friendly: property attributes and owner-occupancy status, never homeowner names, phone numbers, or emails. Remote server — nothing to install. Connect and sign in with just your email; the free tier includes 100 credits per month, and paid plans with higher allowances are self-serve at swathapi.com.
