Taiwan Weather Lens
By 宇祥 張
Overview
An unofficial tool using Central Weather Administration data for Taiwan township forecasts, stations within a requested district, and comparison of 2–4 specified weather windows. Forecasts provide hourly detail within today and the next two Taipei dates, or a seven-date outlook in native 12-hour day/night periods with temperature ranges and data gaps. Rain probabilities follow actual source intervals and coverage, which may be shorter than seven days; no seven-day hourly rain forecast is invented. Short-window comparison remains within three dates: the backend aligns samples and original rain intervals, reports coverage and missing data, and returns rule-based differences or refusal reasons, never an overall best window. Requires a county/city and township/district. Stations are sorted by name, not distance; no district station means no data. Official, retrieval and query times remain distinct. Missing values stay missing. Data may be delayed or incomplete; stations do not represent your home or the whole district. No safety guarantee: consult official warnings and local conditions for high-risk activities. No mountain, radar, history, travel or calendar tools.
