Tools

browse_library

ChatGPT
Browse the published team library without a search query. Call with no selector for a bounded snapshot of top-level folders and apps from recently updated accessible guides. Then pass folderId to list that folder's subfolders and guides, appName to list guides for an app, or author to list one person's published team guides ("me" for the user's own). author combines with appName, but not with folderId. Guide lists are paginated: pass the returned next_cursor as cursor, which also comes back as the structured fields nextCursor and hasMore. Use this for orientation, inventories, or exploration after search_workflows returns no_match. Use search_workflows for a specific task because search is broader and includes every personal, shared, and team guide the user can access.

get_current_workspace

ChatGPT
Report which single Tango workspace this connection reads from — its name and id — and the Tango user the reads run as. Call it when the user asks which Tango workspace or account they are connected to, or to diagnose a connection problem — e.g. to name the searched workspace when a search unexpectedly comes back empty. It returns no guides; search_workflows and get_workflow are already scoped to this workspace.

get_step_details

ChatGPT
Return the details and expected screenshot for one step in a Tango guide, with a stable screenshot URL you can include in the answer. Use this only when answering a pointed question that needs more detail than get_workflow provides.

get_workflow

ChatGPT
Load one Tango guide as a text recipe with its title, description, starting URL, required inputs, steps, and Tango link. Use it to answer pointed questions or compare guides. When the user asks to see the process, present the relevant steps from this recipe.

search_workflows

ChatGPT
Search all of the user's accessible Tango guides for a specific software task or process, including personal and shared guides. This is broader than browse_library, which covers the published team library only. Use when the user asks how their organization performs that task. The response opens with a machine-readable result_state: single_match (one workflow with its title, Tango link, summary, last-updated date, and why it matched), multiple_matches (up to 3 candidates with the same fields), or no_match. Steps are never included; get_workflow returns them.
