Overview

The Declarant gives importers and customs teams read-only access to practical EU customs intelligence in ChatGPT. Search HS, CN and TARIC codes, estimate customs duty, import VAT, CBAM costs and total landed cost, check preferential origin rules, and review tariff-change alerts for your account. It does not file declarations, contact authorities, make payments, or change account data.

Look up the rules of origin that govern preferential duty for a product and lane. Returns the applicable trade agreement, the product-specific origin rule, tolerance thresholds, the proof of origin required (EUR.1, A.TR, statement on origin), and a link to the EU ROSA self-assessment tool.

estimate_landed_cost

Estimate the total cost of importing goods into an EU member state. Returns the customs duty, any additional duties (anti-dumping, countervailing, safeguard), CBAM cost, import VAT, and the resulting landed cost, together with the trade agreement applied and the source of each rate. All rate fields are percentages, so 19 means 19%. Destination must be an EU member state. Results are estimates for planning; the declared value and classification remain the declarant's responsibility.
