Prayer Times is the official connector of the Quran Majeed app for iOS and Android, used by millions of Muslims worldwide, and its website time.quranmajeed.com. It gives Claude the same prayer times the app shows: Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha for any city in the world, for today, any date, or a whole month at once. Where an official timetable exists, the times come from it: London Central Mosque, Jordan's Ministry of Awqaf, the UAE, Oman, Malaysia, Indonesia, Morocco and others. Everywhere else they are calculated for the city's coordinates with the method Quran Majeed applies for that country, such as the Muslim World League, the University of Islamic Sciences Karachi, Umm al-Qura, the Egyptian General Authority of Survey, ISNA or Turkey's Diyanet. Daylight saving is included, every answer is in the city's local time with its UTC offset and Hijri date, and each answer names the page on time.quranmajeed.com to check it against. Two tools: get_prayer_times, by city name or by a GeoNames place id, with optional date and month; and search_city, to find the right place when a name is shared by several cities, such as London, Ontario.
