Overview

Roster finds and hires user-generated content creators for brands, and finds paid brand work for creators. It is a two-sided marketplace for product content. For brands: search a directory of more than a million vetted creators by niche, audience size and location, and see follower counts, engagement rates, niches and locations for the closest matches. Size a market before committing to a campaign — how many pet creators work in Canada, how they split across follower bands. Look up a single creator's public stats by handle. Browse the directory's own niche vocabulary so a search uses the label that actually matches. For creators: list the brand campaigns currently open on Roster and get a direct link to apply to each. Results come from Roster's public creator directory. No creator contact details are returned and no messages can be sent from ChatGPT. Contacting, briefing, contracting and paying creators happen on ugcroster.com.

Tools

get_creator_market_snapshot

ChatGPT
Use this when someone asks how many creators exist for a niche, whether a market is big enough, or how a niche compares across countries or cities — "are there enough pet creators in Canada", "how many fitness creators do you have in the UK vs the US". Returns counts only: the total for the niche, a breakdown by follower band, and a per-location breakdown. Returns no creator records; use search_ugc_creators when the user wants to see actual creators.

get_creator_profile

ChatGPT
Use this when someone names a specific creator handle and wants their public stats — "how many followers does @someone have", "what niche is @someone in". Returns follower count, engagement rate, niches, location and verified status from Roster's public directory. Returns no email or contact details and cannot message anyone. Use search_ugc_creators instead when the user wants to discover creators rather than look one up.

list_creator_niches

ChatGPT
Use this FIRST when you are unsure what niche term to search with, or when someone asks what kinds of creators Roster has. Returns the directory's own niche vocabulary, grouped by category. Searching with a label from this list reaches far more creators than an invented synonym, so prefer a returned label over the user's exact wording when the two differ.

list_open_campaigns

ChatGPT
Use this when a CREATOR — someone who makes content, not a brand hiring — wants paid work: "what brand deals can I apply to", "find me UGC gigs", "any paid campaigns for fitness creators". Returns currently open Roster campaigns with their compensation, niches and an apply link. This is the creator side of Roster. When the person is a brand looking to hire, use search_ugc_creators instead.

search_ugc_creators

ChatGPT
Use this when someone wants to find, hire, source or shortlist UGC creators, influencers or content creators for a brand, product or campaign — including questions like "who could make TikToks for my skincare brand" or "find me mom creators in Canada". Searches Roster's directory of over a million vetted creators and returns a ranked preview with follower counts, engagement rates, niches and locations. For one named creator's stats use get_creator_profile instead, and for how many creators exist in a niche or market use get_creator_market_snapshot. Do NOT use any of these to read the caller's own roster, campaigns or contracts, or to contact creators — none return emails or contact details.
