Overview
Verne helps users save travel itineraries from a ChatGPT conversation, look up place candidates with coordinates, revise saved trips with structured changes, and remove itinerary items they no longer want before continuing in the Verne map and timeline workspace.

trip_create_from_plan
ChatGPTPersist a structured trip plan (Trip Meta + per-day Timeline) and return the saved trip. Missing PLACE locations are back-filled from the place search provider when possible.
trip_delete_items
ChatGPTRemove one or more items from an existing trip plan, identified by (day, position) targets. This is the only path that deletes itinerary items; trip_revise is non-destructive. All targets are resolved by item identity BEFORE any deletion runs, so multiple targets in a single call are unaffected by index shifts caused by earlier deletes. Deletion is irreversible — confirm with the user before calling.
trip_get
ChatGPTFetch a single trip plan including its full timeline. Use this to read item ids and current state before revising.
trip_list
ChatGPTList all trip plans owned by the user. Returns a summary array suitable for picking a trip to inspect or revise.
trip_revise
ChatGPTApply a list of non-destructive changes to an existing trip plan (update_meta, add_item, update_item, move_item, sort_day_by_time). Missing PLACE locations on add_item / update_item are back-filled from the place search provider when possible. To remove items, call trip_delete_items instead — this tool no longer accepts delete_item.
