Walk Window

by Titan Tribute LLC

Overview

Walk Window answers one question: when should I take my walk? Ask your assistant about any town, today through the next seven days, and it gets the best time to head out, a backup, and a short reason: how warm it will feel, the wind, and whether rain is coming. Two read-only tools. get_windows lists the best times over the next few days. compare_days puts specific days side by side, so "Saturday or Sunday?" gets a plain answer. Each time comes with one word: Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor, or Not Recommended. If rain or lightning is coming during it, it says Wet or Stormy instead. It says when a time falls after dark. Times are local, and places outside the US get °C and km/h. It plans for a walker who is comfortable between about 45°F and 75°F, doesn't mind a light sprinkle, and stays in for heavy rain, storms and dangerous heat. For anything else about the weather, your assistant answers the way it always does. No account and no sign-in. Walk Window receives only the place and the days asked about.

Tools

compare_days

Claude
Best time to walk on each of several days at a place, side by side, from the hourly forecast. Days can be "today", "tomorrow", weekday names, or YYYY-MM-DD, up to 10 days ahead. Returns each day's best window and a backup, with a one-word verdict and a one-line reason, or why the day has no good window. Use when someone asks which day is better for a walk, or when to walk on a specific day. Scope: timing for a walk only — not a general weather forecast. Assumes typical preferences (comfortable 45–75°F, light rain acceptable, heavy rain and storms ruled out).
