Overview

Use your Wander notes in ChatGPT. Search and read notes, summarize what you've written, and save conversations as new notes. Edit a section, append text, add images from a URL or an uploaded file, and organize notes into folders. View your note history, see what changed and who changed it, and restore earlier versions. Changes save directly to Wander as new versions you can undo. Publish notes to the web when you want to share them. Publishing and deletion require your approval. Connect your Wander account and choose which vaults ChatGPT can access.

Tools

add_attachment

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks to keep a file, such as a photo or a pdf, in a vault: one dropped in the chat (file) or one on the web (file_url, https). It goes in the vault's attachments/ folder unless a path names another place. Not for a note's text: use create_note.

create_folder

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks for a new folder in a vault. Not for a new vault: use create_vault.

create_note

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks to save something as a new note. It refuses a path that already holds a different note; the same note again answers that it is already saved. Not for changing a note: use edit_note.

create_vault

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks for a new vault, a new place for notes. Private unless they ask for public; a public vault puts every note in it on the web, so it needs the share permission. Not for a folder inside a vault: use create_folder.

edit_note

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks to change a note: add, replace or remove text, by section, by exact text, or at the start or end. It takes the version get_note gave and refuses a stale one instead of guessing. Not for a new note: use create_note.

get_note

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks what a note says, or before edit_note to get its current version. A long note answers with its headings; pass section for one of them. An image or a pdf comes back as the file. Not for finding a note: use search_notes.

list_folder

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks what is in a vault or a folder. With no path it lists the vaults this connection may use. Not for searching text: use search_notes.

list_versions

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks what changed, who changed a note, or wants an earlier version back (restore_version takes the version it lists). Not for a note's current text: use get_note.

move_file

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks to rename or move an attachment or other file. Not for a note: use move_note.

move_folder

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks to rename a folder or move it elsewhere in its vault. Links to the notes in it are updated. Not for one note: use move_note.

move_note

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks to rename a note or file it in another folder. Notes that link to it are updated. Not for a folder: use move_folder.

publish_note

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks to put one note on the web. It asks first on the server: the first call says what would become public and answers a confirm code; only a second call with that code publishes. Not for a whole vault: a vault is made public in Wander.

restore_version

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks to undo a change or bring back a note, a trashed one too, by a version list_versions gave. Not for a note's current text: use get_note.

search_notes

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks what they wrote about something, or you need a note whose path you do not know. Searches the text of every note in the vaults this connection may use. Not for listing a folder: use list_folder.

trash_note

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks to delete a note, a file or a folder. It asks first on the server with a confirm code; only a second call with it trashes. It stays in history, and restore_version brings it back. Not for taking a note off the web: use unpublish_note.

unpublish_note

ChatGPT
Use this when the person asks to take a published note off the web. It asks first with a confirm code, as publish_note does. Not for deleting the note: use trash_note.
