Overview
WantIt is a reverse marketplace. Instead of searching listings, you post what you want to buy and sellers who have it send you offers. With this plugin, ChatGPT can: - Post a request for an item you want (title, details, budget, acceptable condition and a photo of the item). - Show the requests you have posted. - Search what other buyers are currently looking for. Posting needs a WantIt account: the first time, you connect your account with Google, Apple or email. ChatGPT asks you to confirm before anything is posted. Every request includes a photo: a picture you attach, an image link, or a reference photo ChatGPT finds and shows you first. After posting, sellers contact you in the WantIt app or on wantit.live. Payment is held by WantIt and released to the seller only after you confirm the item arrived as described.

The photo is image_file (a picture attached in ChatGPT), image_url (a direct https link to a JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF) or image_ref (an uploaded file). Returns the link to the new request.

ChatGPTPrepares a one-time upload for an image file on the user's computer: returns a curl command that uploads the file and an image_ref that identifies it once uploaded. For assistants that can run commands on the user's device. Accepts .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .webp and .gif files.

ChatGPTFetches the image at a direct https link, checks that it is a JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF, and returns a preview so the user can see the photo in the chat, for example a reference photo of an item before it goes into a request.
search_requests
ChatGPTFinds open WantIt requests (items people want to buy) that match a query, with budget, condition and link. Useful for someone who has an item to sell and wants to see who is looking for it.
update_request
ChatGPTChanges one or more details of a request the signed-in user posted: title, description, budget, currency, acceptable condition, or the photo (image_file, image_url or image_ref, same as when posting). Only the given fields change. Not possible once an offer has been accepted. Returns the updated request and its link.
