WebSpeed

Overview
WebSpeed measures a web page with Google PageSpeed Insights twice: the page as it is, and a copy of it served through WebSpeed Fast, our optimizing proxy. Both runs cover mobile and desktop, so you see in measured numbers what an acceleration layer changes on this particular page. Ask about any public page, for example "How fast is example.com?". A page measured before returns its result at once. A new measurement usually takes 2–5 minutes, heavy pages longer, and the result card in the chat updates by itself while it runs. The result shows: - PageSpeed scores for the original page and the WebSpeed Fast copy, on mobile and desktop; - how much faster the page renders (Speed Index) and how much lighter it gets; - what WebSpeed Fast handled automatically; - what still slows the page down and needs changes on the site, with Lighthouse savings estimates. Numbers pass a verification step before they are shown. If the copy was not faster, or a measurement cannot support a comparison, WebSpeed says so and shows no speed-up figures. Each measurement is also published as a public report page on webspeed.pro, linked from the card. Only public web pages can be measured: local and private addresses are not supported. Each user can start three new measurements a day; pages measured before do not count toward this limit.
