Overview
Draw and refine sketches, diagrams, and visual explanations on an editable Excalidraw canvas. In Codex desktop, save ordinary .excalidraw files in your chat workspace and reopen the same file later. Manual drawing and agent edits use that file, with stale-save protection. The hosted service supplies the editor and does not store your boards. Browser and mobile use manual file import and download; automatic chat-local saving requires desktop file support. No Whiteboard account is required. Cross-device sync and multi-user collaboration are not included.
