Overview
WindowEdge (windowedge.ai) connects Claude to one window and door dealership's live business data. Start read-only: "Give me my morning briefing" or "Show my appointments this week." Ask about: - Business performance: leads, appointments booked, run and sold, close rate, sold value and receivables. - What needs attention: unread and flagged texts and calls, unresulted appointments, overdue tasks and invoices. - The calendar and open slots from the dealer's scheduling engine. - Sales reps: scoreboards, close rates and coaching signals. - Marketing: spend, cost per lead and per sale by channel and campaign, funnel drop-off and unworked leads. - Homeowner history: appointments, calls, texts, web chats, projects, quotes and invoices. - AI voice, SMS and web chat conversations, with transcripts. - Why a number moved: diagnostics comparing periods and measured contributors. Prompts include morning briefing, rep scorecard, marketing review, customer 360 and at-risk customers. The booking prompt requires separately authorized write access. Only a WindowEdge administrator can approve an OAuth connection. Standard dynamic registration is read-only. Writes require an admin-created client allowing the relevant write scope, an assistant that requests that scope, and explicit admin consent. Client credentials alone do not enable writes; the Claude UI flow for requesting write scopes has not been verified. Each change is prepared as a recap and applied only after user confirmation through confirm_action; contact deletion also requires the typed phrase "delete contact". Connections are scoped to one business and revocable in WindowEdge. Homeowner AI identification and staff handoff depend on the dealer's channel configuration. This connector does not guarantee proactive disclosure on every channel or immediate human availability.
