Overview

Winrate answers League of Legends questions with real match data from winrate.gg: millions of ranked solo/duo games and pro play. Ask a question in plain words. Winrate runs a read-only query over its data and shows the result as a table or chart, with a link to open the same query on winrate.gg. What you can ask: - Which champions win most in a role, rank or patch - What counters a champion, and who they play best with - How a champion's win rate moves from patch to patch - Which items and runes a champion wins with - Pro play picks, bans and results - Any player by Riot ID: solo queue rank, season wins and losses, and their last 20 ranked games Good to know: - Winrate only reads data. It needs no account and changes nothing. - It covers League of Legends only. - Each query runs for at most 20 seconds, and heavy use is rate limited. Tools

get_guide

ChatGPT
Read one guide from list_guides; start with "sql". The guides were written for Winrate's in-app assistant: its run_query({ sql }) is run_sql here and player_lookup is search_players. Its player and match SQLite tools are not available here.

get_player

ChatGPT
One player's solo queue rank, season wins and losses, and their last 20 ranked games on winrate.gg: win rate, KDA and most played champions. Takes the riotId and region from search_players. If Winrate's cached copy of the player's public match history is stale, the call refreshes it in the background, so a second call can show newer games.

get_schema

ChatGPT
The ClickHouse tables run_sql can read, with what each row is. Pass a table for its columns and their ClickHouse types. Both include how tier, rank, patch, position, queue and region are encoded.

list_guides

ChatGPT
The guides for querying Winrate's data: the SQL workflow, tested query templates by topic, the full table reference, and champion, item and rune names by ID. Read one with get_guide.

run_sql

ChatGPT
Use this when a question needs Winrate's ranked match data: run one read-only ClickHouse SELECT and read the rows yourself; the user doesn't see them. Read get_guide("sql") and get_schema first. Queries stop after 20 seconds and share a small per-user quota, so filter by patch, position and tier and aggregate in SQL. Returns up to 200 rows, the JSON type of each column, and a link to the same query in Winrate's SQL console. Then call show_results with the query that answers the question.

search_players

ChatGPT
Find League of Legends players on winrate.gg whose Riot ID starts with the given text (game name, optionally with #tag), with their region, solo queue rank and profile page. Pass a result's riotId and region to get_player.

show_results

ChatGPT
Use this when you have the run_sql query that answers the user's question: it shows the user that query's rows as a card, with a link to the same query in Winrate's SQL console. Call run_sql first, then call this once per answer with that query's exact SQL. Pick the view that fits the result's columns (see "Showing results" in get_guide("sql")); leave it out and the card picks one. The card is the answer's visual, so reply in a sentence or two without your own charts, tables, stat tiles or entity cards.

sql_console

ChatGPT
Use this only when the user asks to open Winrate's SQL console: it opens the console, where they pick a Query Catalog query and see its rows. To answer a question with Winrate's data, use run_sql and show_results instead.
