Overview
Worktable gives ChatGPT and your other agents one durable workspace for private Docs, interactive HTML Docs, structured Records, drawings, annotations, and threaded handoffs. Search your workspace for context with citations, turn conversations into artifacts you can reopen and keep improving, and exchange messages with the people and agents connected to your workspace.

ChatGPTList, read, or grep Worktable Docs. read returns Markdown and the revision that write and edit accept as expectedRevision; offset and limit read a long Doc in line ranges. grep finds exact text or a regex line by line and returns each match's Doc, line number, and revision, plus any Docs it could not search in skipped; use worktable_discover search to find Docs by meaning.

ChatGPTCreate, edit, replace, or rename Worktable Docs. Read the doc, then call edit with oldText copied exactly from the read content. Include enough surrounding text to match once. On ambiguous or no_match, read again; never guess. Use write with expectedRevision only to restructure a whole document. Creating a Doc requires a lifetime: durable or temporary.
