Overview

BANKSapi Docs gives Claude live access to the developer documentation of BANKSapi, a BaFin-regulated Open Banking platform for account information and payment initiation in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Use it while you build a BANKSapi integration. Claude can search the documentation, read a guide such as the quick start or the error reference, and fetch a single operation from the OpenAPI specifications for BANKS/Connect, AI/Connect and PAY/Connect, so that generated code uses the real endpoints, fields and enums. The connector is read-only and needs no account. It serves public documentation only and doesn't access bank accounts, customer data or the BANKSapi API. BANKSapi's documentation search provider; page and OpenAPI lookups are served by BANKSapi. To run the code you write, you need BANKSapi API credentials. Get an OpenAPI 3.0 specification for a BANKSapi API, or a targeted slice of one. Available specs: banks-connect (main API), ai-connect (AI features), pay-connect (payments). Pass operation_id to get just that operation with the schemas it references (strongly preferred — the full specs are large). Pass tag to get every operation of one section. With neither, returns the entire spec. To discover operationIds and tags, fetch the API index via get-banksapi-docs-page('/api/<spec_name>'). Returns YAML for YAML specs, JSON for JSON specs.
