locations is optional; omit it for broad sale searches across all available locations, and use it for suburb/local-area searches, multi-suburb searches, or 'also add to map' follow-ups. Common local aliases such as 'CBD' are canonicalized to supported Barfoot locality names such as 'City Centre'. Use regions for broad city, district, or region searches such as 'Auckland City' or 'North Shore City'. Use minBedrooms and maxBedrooms to express bedroom ranges in one call: for '3-bedroom houses' set both to 3, and for '3 or 4 bedrooms' set minBedrooms=3 and maxBedrooms=4. Use minParking and maxParking for carpark filters; for 'with carparks' set minParking=1. Default to limit=20 for map browsing and carousel exploration unless the user explicitly asks for fewer results. This is the only listings tool and the default path for listing discovery requests.
