Overview

Do you use iCloud for your email and calendar? With CERTENTIC Bridge, you can use both together to find information faster. Want to know when you last met someone — and see the emails you exchanged around that meeting? CERTENTIC Bridge goes further: it can uncover more complex information that would normally take considerable effort to compile. For example, you can ask which recurring orders of a particular product you placed over the last twelve months, what prices you paid, and have relevant PDF attachments in your emails taken into account. Access is strictly read-only: emails and calendar events are never created, modified, sent, moved, or deleted. Your iCloud credentials are stored encrypted and are used exclusively to access your connected iCloud account. The service infrastructure is hosted in the European Union, and we consistently apply European data protection principles. CERTENTIC Bridge is operated by CERTENTIC GmbH, a German company, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc.

Tools

get_service_info

ChatGPT
Returns minimal service and authentication information. Connector access can be time-limited; an expired entitlement is distinct from an invalid bearer.

list_calendars

ChatGPT
Lists all private, shared, and family calendars visible to the authenticated user's iCloud account. Calendar access remains read-only.

list_events

ChatGPT
Lists events in an explicit, bounded date range from selected or all calendars visible to the authenticated user. Shared and family calendars may be included. Use ISO 8601 timestamps with timezone offsets. For questions about events created or newly added in a period, filter primarily by createdOrModifiedAt: it equals createdAt when VEVENT CREATED exists, otherwise lastModifiedAt as a pragmatic fallback, so an event without createdAt may only have been modified. organizer is the iCalendar organizer, not necessarily the technical creator; attendees contains participants and available status/role metadata.

list_mailboxes

ChatGPT
Lists IMAP mailboxes visible to the authenticated user's iCloud account. Mail access remains read-only.

read_attachment

ChatGPT
Reads an existing PDF attachment from one of the authenticated user's iCloud Mail messages and extracts its text. Identify the attachment with the message's messageId (from read_mail or search_mail) and the attachment's MIME part identifier (from read_mail's attachment metadata) — filename alone does not identify an attachment. Text extraction is bounded and reports truncation or the absence of extractable text explicitly. A binary PDF resource is returned only when enabled for the authenticated client by server configuration. This tool never creates, modifies, moves, sends, or deletes mail. Only application/pdf attachments are currently supported; other attachment types are rejected.

read_mail

ChatGPT
Reads one message selected by an opaque message identifier. Returns a plain-text representation, attachment metadata, and selected structured authenticity headers when present. Use those headers as technical evidence for spoofing or phishing concerns, SPF/DKIM/DMARC/ARC results, suspicious Reply-To or sender/domain mismatches, and delivery-path plausibility; they do not by themselves prove authenticity.

search_events

ChatGPT
Searches titles, locations, and descriptions in selected or all calendars visible to the authenticated user. Supply an explicit bounded ISO 8601 date range when possible; otherwise a bounded default window is used. For questions about events created or newly added in a period, filter primarily by createdOrModifiedAt: it equals createdAt when VEVENT CREATED exists, otherwise lastModifiedAt as a pragmatic fallback, so an event without createdAt may only have been modified. organizer is the iCalendar organizer, not necessarily the technical creator; attendees contains participants and available status/role metadata.

search_mail

ChatGPT
Returns matching or recent mail from the authenticated user's inbox by default, newest first. Query is optional; omit it to retrieve recent mail. Use since and before with ISO 8601 dates or offset date-times for received-mail ranges. IMAP applies these boundaries at calendar-day granularity. An explicit mailbox limits the search to that mailbox. Optional seen, flagged, and answered filters match messages by read state, flagged/starred state, and reply state respectively; each is applied natively by the IMAP server. Message bodies are not retrieved.
