Brands with fewer than 3 reviews are ranked after the rest. Use for "which brand of fryer is most reliable" questions.
rate_equipment
ClaudeGive a product a quick 1-5 star rating from the user's own experience with it. One rating per product; a new one replaces the old. Only when the user states the rating themselves. For a written review use submit_review.
save_to_list
ClaudeSave a product to one of the user's ChefWorthy lists for later: things they are considering, comparing, or planning to buy. Without list it goes to their default list (created as "Saved" if they have none). Pass newListTitle to start a new list. Pass product (id or slug from search_equipment) or, for equipment not in the catalog, item. Saving the same product twice is harmless.
search_equipment
ClaudeSearch ChefWorthy's catalog of ~12,800 commercial foodservice products (ovens, fryers, refrigeration, ice machines, dish machines, mixers, etc.) with operator review ratings and list prices. Prefer category over query for intent like "a dough mixer" or "reach-in freezer": product names are manufacturer model strings, so free text only works for brands, series, and model numbers. Call list_equipment_categories first if unsure of the category name. Results link to the product page; pass id to get_equipment_details or compare_equipment.
submit_review
ClaudeSubmit the user's review of equipment they have used, for ChefWorthy moderation (published after approval; approved reviews earn ChefWorthy XP). The review must be the user's own first-hand experience: draft it only from what they told you, never add details, ratings or opinions they did not give, and show them the complete review to approve before calling this. Ask them both disclosure questions (askedToWrite, anticipateIncentives) and set firstHandUse only if they confirm they used it. Sub-scores are 1-5 (operation/cleaning/maintenance: 5 = very easy); leave out any they did not rate.
