Overview
Chord is a remote recording studio where creators record podcasts, interviews, and video, with transcripts and show notes for their recordings. This connector gives Claude read-only access to your Chord library, so you can work with past conversations directly from Claude. With Chord connected, Claude can: Browse your recordings — list everything in your studio or in a single project, newest first, and page back through older sessions. Read transcripts — pull a recording's transcript with timestamps, jump to any section, and get word-level timings when you need precise cuts. Use show notes — read a recording's summary, chapters, guests, key takeaways, quotes, topics, and title ideas. Repurpose content — turn an interview into a newsletter, blog post, social posts, or captions, based on what was actually said. Ask across conversations — find what you or a guest said about a topic in past recordings, with timestamps to go back to. Find the best moments — pick out clips and highlights using chapter and transcript times. Everything runs against your own Chord account over OAuth, and Claude sees only what you can. It can't record, edit, delete, or share anything in Chord. Transcripts don't label who's speaking, so Claude won't attribute a quote to a specific person. You can disconnect at any time in Chord under Settings > Connected apps.
