Overview

Connect Cohearo to search and work with your synced meeting and interview transcripts. Find recordings by keyword, date, speaker, folder, or label; read transcript content; and ask ChatGPT to summarize discussions, compare interviews, or extract decisions and action items. Browse recordings you own and those in folders shared with you. You can also rename recordings, replace their labels, and update speaker names across your transcripts. Requires a Cohearo account and transcripts available through Cohearo's cloud service.

Tools

get_transcription

ChatGPT
Fetch full transcription content with segmentation. Returns segments split by speaker turns (diarized), sentences (raw), or paragraphs (enhanced). Use segmentIndex to paginate through long transcriptions.

get_usage_summary

ChatGPT
Get aggregated analytics for a date range: transcription count, total hours, per-speaker and per-preset breakdowns.

label_transcription

ChatGPT
Replace the existing label results on a transcription. Use list_labels first to see available definitions; passing an empty list clears all results.

list_folders

ChatGPT
List folders you own or that have been shared with you, with transcription counts and an isShared flag. Use folder IDs with search_by_folder.

list_labels

ChatGPT
List your label definitions (boolean, categorical, scale). Use label names with search_by_labels.

list_presets

ChatGPT
List your recording presets. Use preset names with search_transcriptions.

list_speakers

ChatGPT
List your known speaker profiles. Use speaker names with search_by_speaker.

rename_transcription

ChatGPT
Set the user-visible display title of a recording. Display-only — it is never used as a key or for lookup. Max 120 characters. Passing an empty string clears the title, reverting the display name back to the default.

search_by_folder

ChatGPT
Browse transcriptions in a folder or folder tree. Includes folders that have been shared with you; subfolders are only included if they were also shared. Use list_folders first to see available folders.

search_by_labels

ChatGPT
Filter transcriptions by label values. Use list_labels first to see available definitions.

search_by_speaker

ChatGPT
Find transcriptions where a specific speaker appears. Use list_speakers first to see available names.

search_transcriptions

ChatGPT
Search your transcriptions by keywords, date range, status, or preset name. Returns transcriptions you own as well as those in folders shared with you (each result has an isShared flag). Returns metadata summaries with text previews — use get_transcription to read full content.

update_speaker_label

ChatGPT
Rename a speaker user-wide across all referencing transcripts. speakerId is the externalRef returned by list_speakers; transcriptionId is retained for compatibility and does not limit the scope.
