CookieInspector
By CookieInspector
Overview
CookieInspector checks a website's cookie consent. Ask it about any public site and it runs a quick pre-scan: which consent platform the site uses (30+ recognised, such as Cookiebot, OneTrust or CookieYes), which known trackers it loads, whether Google Consent Mode is present, and a risk score, with a link to the full report on cookieinspector.com. It can also explain any finding in plain language, for example what "cookies before consent" means or what a consent platform does. Who it is for: site owners, marketers, agencies, privacy consultants and lawyers who want to know whether a site loads tracking before the visitor consents, under GDPR, ePrivacy and CCPA. Limitations: the pre-scan reads the page's HTML and headers; it does not click the banner. The full browser scan, which records what loads before and after consent, runs on cookieinspector.com (first site free with a free account). Private and internal addresses are not scanned, and pre-scans are limited per hour. Results are technical findings, not legal advice. CookieInspector works alongside a site's consent platform; it does not replace it.
