Overview
Daobook is practice management software for Chinese medicine practitioners and clinics in Australia: the appointment diary, client records, herbal prescriptions and labels, invoicing and CPD in one place, in English and Simplified Chinese. This connector lets a practitioner or receptionist work with their clinic's diary from Claude in plain words. Claude can read the locations, practitioners and appointment types the clinic offers online and find free times; read the diary; book, move, cancel or confirm an appointment; put a client on the waiting list; and find a client, add one, or update their contact details. Claude connects as the person who signs in, and Daobook's own screen shows exactly what it asks for before they allow it. It does only what that person's role allows, at their locations: a practitioner can let it read the diary, while booking and changing appointments is for the owner, admins and receptionists. A move goes only to a time the clinic's booking page would offer. Everything it does is logged as the person, through Claude, and each client record it reads is shown on that record. The person can disconnect Claude at any time under Settings → Security → Connected apps. Nothing clinical is reachable: no consultation notes, prescriptions, files or intake form answers. You need a Daobook account. The account owner accepts the Daobook API terms once, under Settings → Integrations → Developer API.
