get_account_limits
ChatGPTReturns the user's eRank plan, usage limits, remaining daily allowances, reset times, and which features the plan restricts. Use it when the user asks about their plan, remaining searches, limits, or why some data is unavailable. Calling it does not use any allowance. Do not call it before every eRank request; other tools report their own restrictions. get_keyword_stats, get_bulk_keyword_stats, list_related_keywords, and list_keyword_top_listings share one daily keyword search allowance. get_shop_public_summary and list_shop_public_listings share one daily shop search allowance. Each distinct keyword or bulk batch counts once per day, and repeating it the same day still works after the allowance is used up. A null used or remaining value means no account-wide counter applies, such as a per-list or per-request limit.
get_bulk_keyword_stats
ChatGPTReturns eRank Bulk Keyword Tool metrics for up to 20 keywords in one request: average searches, clicks, click-through rate, competition, keyword difficulty, Google data, and search trend for each keyword. Use it when the user wants to compare two or more keywords; use get_keyword_stats for a single keyword. Blank entries and exact duplicates are removed. Requires Keyword Tool access. The batch counts once per day against the daily keyword search allowance; repeating the same batch the same day does not count again. On the free plan, only the first keyword has full metrics; selected metrics for the other keywords are null with plan_limited restrictions, while search trend can remain available. When eRank has no data for the batch, keywords is empty and status is no_data. Some data may be restricted by the user's eRank plan or usage limits. Restricted values are null with structured entitlement metadata. plan_limited means the current plan does not provide access, not zero, unknown, or missing data. usage_limited means the request exceeds a usage quota. Unrestricted null values or status no_data indicate missing data. Explain unavailable fields and account entitlements neutrally, distinguishing plan restrictions, exhausted usage quotas, and missing data.
get_current_shop
ChatGPTReturns the profile of the user's currently selected Etsy shop in eRank: name, country, total sales, status, and global and national sales ranks with percentiles. Use it when the user asks about their current shop or to confirm which shop is active, including after set_current_shop. Use list_user_shops to see all connected shops. Returns an error if no connected shop is selected, the shop must be reconnected in eRank, or Etsy is temporarily unavailable.
get_keyword_stats
ChatGPTReturns eRank statistics for one keyword: average searches, clicks, click-through rate, competition, keyword difficulty, monthly search trend, and searcher share by country. Use it when the user asks about a single keyword; use get_bulk_keyword_stats to compare several. The keyword can be up to 40 characters. Country defaults to usa and marketplace to etsy. Requires Keyword Tool access. Each distinct keyword counts once per day against the daily keyword search allowance; repeating it the same day does not count again. Explain unavailable fields and account entitlements neutrally, distinguishing plan restrictions, exhausted usage quotas, and missing data.
get_listing_details
ChatGPTReturns eRank details for one Etsy listing by listing ID: title, description, price, tags, images, category, shop, views, favorites, eRank sales and revenue estimates, and the eRank Listing Audit grade. The grade runs from A (best) to E, or is null if the listing has not been graded yet. Use it when the user asks about a specific listing; for the user's own listings, find the ID with list_current_shop_listings. Active Etsy listings can be viewed regardless of ownership; draft, expired, and sold-out listings must belong to one of the user's connected shops. Fetching or refreshing a listing requires the current shop (or the default shop if no current shop is selected) to be connected in eRank; if neither is set, any connected shop is enough. Returns an error if the listing cannot be found or the user is not allowed to view it.
get_listing_tag_analysis
ChatGPTReturns eRank Listing Audit tag analysis for one Etsy listing by listing ID. Each tag includes searches, clicks, click-through rate, competition, keyword difficulty, search trend, character count, and checks for grammar, multi-word use, and whether it appears in the title or in the description. Use it when the user wants to review or improve a listing's tags; use get_listing_details for the rest of the listing. Any active Etsy listing can be analyzed; draft, expired, and sold-out listings must belong to the user's current shop. Each listing analyzed counts once per day against the account's Listing Audit allowance. When it is used up, new listings return an error; listings already counted that day can still be repeated without another charge. An empty result means the listing could not be loaded or has no tags; it does not mean the tags have no demand.
get_shop_public_summary
ChatGPTReturns a public summary of any Etsy shop by its exact shop name: country, creation date, listing count, vacation status, total and recent sales, sales changes, and global and national sales ranks. Use it when the user asks about a specific shop, such as a competitor; use list_shop_public_listings for its listings. Sales figures come from public Etsy data and eRank research, not from the shop's private records. Counts against the daily shop search allowance. On the free plan, seven-day and thirty-day sales and sales changes are null with plan_limited restrictions. Returns an error if the shop cannot be found. Explain unavailable fields and account entitlements neutrally, distinguishing plan restrictions, exhausted usage quotas, and missing data.
list_competitor_sales
ChatGPTReturns sales rows for the shops the user tracks in eRank Competitor Sales, including their own connected shops. Each row has daily sales for the last seven days, the seven-day total, yesterday's sales, thirty-day and total sales, active listings, and shop age. Use it when the user asks how their tracked competitors are selling. It cannot add shops to tracking or look up shops that are not tracked; use get_shop_public_summary for other shops. Supports a shop-name search, sorting, minimum and maximum filters, and paging (5 rows by default, up to 15). An empty list means no tracked shops match the request. Requires Competitor Sales access on the user's account.
list_current_shop_listings
ChatGPTReturns listings from the user's currently selected Etsy shop, filtered by state: active (default), draft, expired, or sold_out. Each row includes the listing ID, title, price, quantity, views, and eRank Listing Audit grade from A (best) to E; the grade is null if the listing has not been graded yet and is always null for drafts. Use it to find a listing in the user's own shop, for example by title, SKU, or listing ID, before calling get_listing_details or get_listing_tag_analysis. Returns 5 listings by default and up to 15 per call; the plan can lower the number of active listings returned. An empty list means no listings match the state, filters, or page. Returns an error if no connected shop is selected.
list_keyword_list_terms
ChatGPTReturns the saved terms in one of the user's eRank keyword lists, newest first, with any notes and flags saved with each term. Use it after list_keyword_lists when the user wants to see or work with the keywords in a saved list. Returns 5 terms by default and up to 15 per call; use offset to page. Unknown, deleted, inaccessible, and empty lists all return the same empty result.
list_keyword_lists
ChatGPTReturns the user's saved eRank keyword lists, newest first, with each list's ID, name, marketplace, creation date, and keyword count. Use it when the user mentions their saved keyword lists, then call list_keyword_list_terms with a list ID to read its terms. Only active lists are returned. Returns 5 lists by default and up to 15 per call; use offset to page. An empty list means the user has no saved lists on that page.
list_keyword_top_listings
ChatGPTReturns the active Etsy listings that rank for a keyword, in Etsy search rank order, up to 100. Each listing includes its rank, title, price, shop, processing time, and link, and the response adds price and processing-time distributions and says whether results were truncated. Use it when the user wants to see what ranks for a keyword or study the competition; use get_listing_details for full detail on one listing. Duplicate listings are removed. Requires Keyword Tool access. Each distinct keyword counts once per day against the daily keyword search allowance. When it is used up, new keywords return an error; keywords already counted that day can still be repeated without another charge. An empty list means no active listings were found.
list_learning_resources
ChatGPTReturns the latest eRank learning resources in English, newest first, with each resource's title, summary, date, and link. Use it when the user asks for eRank guides, tutorials, or tips on using eRank or selling on Etsy. It returns summaries and links, not full lessons. Returns 5 resources by default and up to 15. An empty list means no resources are available.
list_news
ChatGPTReturns the latest articles from the eRank news feed, newest first, with each article's title, date, and link. Use it when the user asks for recent Etsy or eRank news. It returns headlines and links, not full articles, and does not search the web. Returns 5 articles by default and up to 15. An empty list means the feed has no articles.
list_product_updates
ChatGPTReturns the latest eRank product updates in English, newest first, with each update's title, description, date, label, and link when one exists. Use it when the user asks what is new in eRank or about recent eRank features and changes. Returns 5 updates by default and up to 15. An empty list means no updates are available.
list_related_keywords
ChatGPTReturns keywords related to a seed keyword from eRank Related Searches, in relevance score order, with searches, clicks, click-through rate, competition, keyword difficulty, and search trend for each. Use it when the user wants more keyword ideas or variations of a keyword. Optional filters can require exact, phrase, or broad matches and include or exclude specific terms. Returns up to 1,000 suggestions; related suggestions with zero searches are left out and duplicates are merged. Some metrics are masked on the free plan. Requires Keyword Tool access. Each distinct search counts once per day against the daily keyword search allowance. When it is used up, new searches return an error; searches already counted that day can still be repeated without another charge. An empty list means no related keywords were found.
list_shop_public_listings
ChatGPTReturns public active listings for any Etsy shop by its exact shop name, along with the shop's top categories and top tags. Listing sales and revenue figures are eRank estimates. Use it when the user wants to see what a shop sells or how its listings perform; use get_shop_public_summary for shop-level sales and ranks. Each response contains up to 100 listings; use offset to page. The plan limits how far the user can page: the first 20 listings on the free plan, 100 on Basic, and 500 on Pro and Expert. Past that point, listings are null with a plan_limited restriction, which does not mean the shop has no more listings. The free plan also shows only one top tag. Counts against the daily shop search allowance. Returns an error if the shop cannot be found. Explain unavailable fields and account entitlements neutrally, distinguishing plan restrictions, exhausted usage quotas, and missing data.
list_trend_buzz_keywords
ChatGPTReturns trending keywords from eRank Trend Buzz for a marketplace, country, and period, with each keyword's rank, rank change, searches, clicks, click-through rate, competition, and search trend. Use it when the user asks what is trending, rising, or seasonal. Defaults to Etsy, USA, and the one-day period; other periods are seven, thirty, or a past month in YYYYMM format, depending on the marketplace. A null rank change means no numeric change is shown and does not indicate a rank jump. Returns 5 rows by default and up to 100; the user's plan can lower that cap, and Trend Buzz is not available on every plan. An empty list means no trends are available for that selection.
list_user_shops
ChatGPTReturns the Etsy shops connected to the user's eRank account, sorted by name, with each shop's ID, name, image, and whether it is the current shop. Use it when the user asks which shops are connected, or to find the shop ID for set_current_shop. Returns up to 15 shops by default and up to 100. An empty list means no shops are connected to the account; this tool cannot connect a shop.
open_shop_switcher
ChatGPTOpens an interactive shop switcher that lists the user's connected Etsy shops and lets the user pick which one is active in eRank. Use it when the user asks to change, choose, or switch their current shop and has not named the shop. Opening the switcher changes nothing; the active shop changes only when the user selects a shop in it.
set_current_shop
ChatGPTChanges which of the user's connected Etsy shops is active in eRank and returns the newly selected shop. Call it only after the user has explicitly chosen the shop; never pick one for them. The shop_id must belong to a shop connected to the user's account (see list_user_shops). This changes the eRank selection only: it does not change anything on Etsy. Other shop tools, such as list_current_shop_listings, then use this shop. Returns an error if the shop is not connected to the account.
