Overview

Flypost is a LinkedIn content creation studio. Create LinkedIn posts, carousels, images and articles in your own voice from ChatGPT, built on your own material, then schedule them to LinkedIn. The plugin connects ChatGPT to your Flypost account, where everything you create is saved to your content plan. What you can do: - Brainstorm LinkedIn post ideas based on what has worked on your profile, and save them to your Flypost idea bank. Flypost checks new ideas against the posts you have already published, so you don't repeat yourself. - Write LinkedIn posts in your voice. ChatGPT reads your Flypost brand kit and writing voice (tone, words to avoid, formatting rules) and searches your saved sources (blog posts, videos, documents, call notes) for real facts, stories and figures to build on. - Save drafts to Flypost, where you can edit them, add images or carousels, and see them alongside the rest of your content plan. - Create LinkedIn visuals: carousel slides, infographics and single images in your brand colours and fonts. - Write long-form LinkedIn articles from a brief. - Check how human a draft sounds before you post it. - Schedule posts to LinkedIn, or cancel a scheduled one. ChatGPT asks you to confirm before it schedules or cancels anything. - Review your recent LinkedIn post analytics to see what is landing. Who it is for: founders, consultants, marketers and anyone who wants to post on LinkedIn more often and get better results from it, without spending hours writing and planning each post. Limitations: - You need a Flypost account. You sign in once in your browser and choose which of your projects to work in. - Connecting LinkedIn is done in the Flypost app, not in ChatGPT. - Publishing is LinkedIn only. - Image, carousel and article generation run in the background and can take a minute; ChatGPT checks on progress for you.

Tools

flypost_add_source_document

ChatGPT
Upload a document the user gave you (PDF, Word .docx, PowerPoint .pptx, .txt or .md; max 20MB) into a Brain notebook, as the notebook upload in the app does. Blocks while the text is read and indexed (usually under a few minutes) and reports whether it became searchable; a scanned PDF has no text and fails. Needs an existing notebook: create one with flypost_create_notebook. Only upload files the user actually gave you.

flypost_add_source_text

ChatGPT
Add pasted text as a Brain source item in a notebook, then rebuild its embeddings. Blocks until the text is genuinely searchable — the result reports how many items were embedded, so a no-op run can't read as success. Needs an existing notebook: create one with flypost_create_notebook.

flypost_add_source_url

ChatGPT
Ingest one URL (blog post, YouTube video, or generic link) into a Brain notebook. Blocks until the item is scraped and embedded (typically under 2 minutes).

flypost_archive_source

ChatGPT
Crawl a whole blog (sitemap) or YouTube channel into a source package. Long-running: returns a job handle immediately — check progress with flypost_job_status {type:'source-ingest', id: source_package_id}.

flypost_attach_post_image

ChatGPT
Put an image the USER supplied onto a post draft — their photo, screenshot, or a visual they designed elsewhere (Canva, Figma). Pass the bytes as image_base64 + content_type, or a source_url to fetch (remote urls are re-hosted in the user's own Flypost storage so the post still has its picture when it publishes days later). PNG/JPEG/WEBP/GIF, max 10MB. On a text post the image is added to the post's photos (call again to add more); on a concept-backed post it REPLACES the generated visual (the old url comes back as replaced_asset_url). Carousels are different: nothing is attached, you get the hosted image_url back to put on a slide with flypost_upload_slide_image (source_url = image_url). flypost_list_post_images shows what is attached; flypost_remove_post_image takes one off. Only for images the user actually gave you — never fabricate or go fetch bytes to fill this in (to MAKE a picture for a text post, use flypost_create_post_image), and do not use it to place a brand logo (that is the editor's "Add logo" mode).

flypost_brainstorm_ideas

ChatGPT
Run Flypost's tuned brainstorm pipeline: generates post ideas from the Brain or a specific notebook. Blocks until the ideas land (typically 1-3 minutes). The ideas then develop in the background from the Brain, as they do when kept in the app, so they're ready to open; an idea the Brain can't support comes back marked as needing web research instead. For agent-authored ideas use flypost_save_idea instead.

flypost_cancel_scheduled_post

ChatGPT
Unschedule a previously scheduled LinkedIn post — deletes it at the provider and reverts the draft to editable.

flypost_check_coverage

ChatGPT
Check candidate post ideas against everything this workspace already has BEFORE writing or saving them: existing ideas and concepts, the angle and draft text underneath them, free-form drafts with no idea row, and the posts the user has ALREADY PUBLISHED. Published posts are the ones that bite — a post written outside Flypost has no idea row, so flypost_list_ideas cannot see it; it lives in the Brain and only this tool checks there. Pass every candidate title in one call. Each comes back with a verdict: "duplicate" (drop it or change the angle), "related" (the neighbours are listed, pick a distinct angle), or "clear". Every match says matched_on: "title" when two headlines collide, or "body" when the headlines look nothing alike but the argument underneath one of them is already made — body matches carry an excerpt showing the passage that collided, so read it before you dismiss them. Scoring is word overlap, not meaning, so "clear" means no overlap was found rather than definitely new. A title alone misses a published post that makes the same argument in other words: pass candidates with each idea's angle (and its post text once written) and they are also compared on substance against every published post in full — matched_on "substance" means it REPEATS that post. An idea that already exists as a row (brainstorm just made it) must pass its content_bank_item_id so it is not reported as its own duplicate. Cheap and fast — no AI billing — so run it every time you generate ideas.

flypost_connect_linkedin

ChatGPT
Start connecting LinkedIn for publishing: returns an OAuth URL the USER must open in a browser to authorise. Never open or complete it yourself. Afterwards, check with flypost_get_linkedin_connection.

flypost_copy_slide_image

ChatGPT
Copy a slide's image onto another slide of the same carousel; the source keeps it, and the target's old image stays in its history. The image keeps its crop. Slide ids come from flypost_view_visuals; check the result there afterwards.

flypost_create_draft

ChatGPT
Create a draft: pass content_bank_item_id to draft from a developed concept (reuses an existing draft when one exists), or pass text (or nothing) for a free-form post. For agent-authored posts, write the text yourself grounded on flypost_get_writing_voice + flypost_search_brain.

flypost_create_notebook

ChatGPT
Create a Brain notebook (a source collection) and optionally seed it with pasted text items. Returns its source_package_id — the id every other source tool needs. Blocks until the seeded items are searchable, and reports how many were embedded. FIRST call flypost_list_sources: a notebook is a TOPIC collection the user picks to scope a brainstorm, so add items to a fitting existing notebook with flypost_add_source_text instead of creating a near-duplicate. Only create one when the topic is genuinely new, and seed it with every item you have rather than one notebook per snippet. Material you are supplying to back a specific idea needs no notebook at all — pass it on flypost_save_idea/flypost_save_concept and it is filed into your own Source automatically.

flypost_create_post_image

ChatGPT
Give a TEXT post an AI-made picture (the app's "Create an image with AI" button) from an idea the user picked: one you came up with (a short title, a 1-2 sentence description of what is in the frame and how it is composed, and on_image_text of at most 6 words) or one from flypost_suggest_post_image_ideas. Only after the user has chosen: rendering costs from their image allowance. Renders the idea with the brand's palette, adds it to the post's photos (it publishes with the post) and blocks until it lands (usually under a minute). Rules for ideas: concrete and drawable, tied to this post, never a real product's UI or logo, no brand name, and the words on the image never claim more than the post does (a post that says 'reportedly' gets no image stating it as fact). For image/infographic/carousel posts use flypost_generate_image instead; for an image the user supplied, flypost_attach_post_image.

flypost_deep_search_creators

ChatGPT
A fresh LinkedIn search for creators who post about given topics, for paid plans: needs 5+ keywords (topics, phrases, job titles), up to 20 results, and takes several minutes. It waits about 90 seconds and returns what it has; while status is 'running', collect the rest with flypost_get_creator_search and the returned job_id. Use flypost_find_creators first. Then add the ones the user picks with flypost_monitor_creators.

flypost_delete_post

ChatGPT
Permanently delete a post: its concept (with its slides and images) and its drafts, as the app's Delete does. Pass draft_id, or content_bank_item_id for a concept. Refused for a post that is scheduled, publishing or published (cancel a scheduled one first with flypost_cancel_scheduled_post). Only when the user asks; to drop an unwanted idea use flypost_discard_idea.

flypost_develop_concept

ChatGPT
Develop an idea-stage content bank item into a full concept with Flypost's server-side writer (research + format-specific editing — a billed AI pass that writes the slide/visual copy for you). Blocks until developed (typically under a minute from the Brain, a few minutes with web research). Ideas from flypost_brainstorm_ideas are already developing in the background; calling this on one just waits for that develop. If you already wrote the slides or visual brief yourself, use flypost_save_concept instead — it skips this step entirely.

flypost_discard_idea

ChatGPT
Discard an idea the user does not want (the idea board's discard): it disappears from their ideas and is kept only as a signal so future brainstorms avoid it. Reversible in the app. Prefer this to deleting.

flypost_edit_slides

ChatGPT
Change the words on one or more carousel slides in place (the editor's slide fields): title, body, subtitle, example, points (recap), emphasis_words, actions/handle (CTA). Only the fields you pass change; pass null to clear one. Slide ids come from flypost_view_visuals. Use this for any edit short of rewriting the whole deck (flypost_save_concept with content_bank_item_id does that). Slide images stay where they are.

flypost_find_creators

ChatGPT
Find LinkedIn creators who post about given topics, to monitor for inspiration (the Topic Monitoring search). Instant and free, from creators Flypost has already indexed: 1+ keywords, up to 30 results. Try this first; if it finds too few, flypost_deep_search_creators runs a fresh LinkedIn search. Then add the ones the user picks with flypost_monitor_creators.

flypost_generate_article

ChatGPT
Final step of Flypost's own long-form writer: write the full article from its brief, blocking up to ~20 minutes. Prefer flypost_save_article when you can write the article yourself — it is faster and costs the user nothing. Normally run flypost_prepare_article and flypost_outline_article first; with only a topic it creates the article and writes it straight away. Pass feedback to refine an existing body, which it replaces. Always set target_query: it steers the writer and is what keyword tracking reports on.

flypost_generate_article_cover

ChatGPT
Generate an AI cover image (16:9) for a Pulse article. Blocks until ready (typically 1-3 minutes). Returns editor_url — hand it to the user so they can see the cover in place on the article.

flypost_generate_article_infographic

ChatGPT
Turn one passage of a Pulse article into a branded infographic image (the editor's "Create infographic" flow). The server creates a hidden content bank item and runs the art-director + image pipeline; this blocks until the image is ready (typically 1-4 minutes). Returns the finished image urls plus the content_bank_item_id and editor_url — hand editor_url to the user so they can see the graphic in place in the article.

flypost_generate_image

ChatGPT
Generate branded images for a content bank item. variant: 'infographic' (classic), 'square' (clean square body for the canvas editor), 'single' (flat Image post — meme/stat/comparison/product). Works on any concept-stage item — including ones you authored with flypost_save_concept (no develop pass needed). Blocks until images are ready (typically 2-6 minutes). Image budget/entitlement gates apply server-side. Returns editor_url: ALWAYS hand that link to the user (a raw image url on its own is a dead end), after checking the result with flypost_view_visuals. Stat and comparison Images ship logo-free on purpose: place the logo with flypost_place_logo.

flypost_generate_post_draft

ChatGPT
Run Flypost's tuned draft writer for a draft (grounded on its concept, the Brain, and the brand voice). Pass feedback to refine the current text instead of writing fresh. Blocks until ready (typically 1-2 minutes).

flypost_generate_slide_image

ChatGPT
Generate an AI image for one carousel slide (blocks until ready, 1-4 minutes). It becomes the slide's image; any image it replaces stays in the slide's history (flypost_reuse_slide_image puts it back). Once the last slide is done, look at the images with flypost_view_visuals, then hand the user the returned editor_url so they can preview the deck and give feedback. Never render the PDF just to check the slides.

flypost_get_article

ChatGPT
Read one article including its markdown body, cited sources, target keyword, and its brief (outline sections and candidate sources, with the ids flypost_update_article_brief acts on).

flypost_get_brand_kit

ChatGPT
Read the project brand kit: company, product, audience, tone, colors, fonts, logo. Call this before authoring content so drafts match the brand.

flypost_get_draft

ChatGPT
Read one post draft: text, status, authenticity score, publish state — plus the backing concept's visual state (carousel PDF, selected image, editor link) when the draft is concept-backed.

flypost_get_linkedin_connection

ChatGPT
Read the project's LinkedIn publishing connection: which identities (the user's profile, company pages, teammates) it can post as. If none is connected, flypost_connect_linkedin gives the user a link to connect.

flypost_get_post_analytics

ChatGPT
The user's own published LinkedIn posts with LinkedIn's native numbers (impressions, reach, reactions, comments, saves, engagement rate), ranked, plus median impressions per format. Covers every post on their profile, not just ones published through Flypost. Use it BEFORE pitching ideas: find which topics and formats actually earned reach, and model new ideas on those rather than on guesses. Read-only and unbilled.

flypost_get_writing_voice

ChatGPT
Read the project writing voice (voice guide, avoid-words, formatting rules, LinkedIn copy instructions) and business context. Call this before writing any draft yourself.

flypost_job_status

ChatGPT
One non-blocking check of a background job. Use with the job handle a blocking tool returns when it times out, or after flypost_archive_source.

flypost_list_articles

ChatGPT
List the project's LinkedIn Pulse articles.

flypost_list_drafts

ChatGPT
List the project's LinkedIn post drafts with status and publish state. publish_status filters by where a post is on LinkedIn: ['scheduled','publishing'] is the calendar (soonest first), ['published'] what went out, ['failed'] what needs a retry.

flypost_list_ideas

ChatGPT
List the project's content bank items (ideas and developed concepts) with stage, format and asset state.

flypost_list_logos

ChatGPT
The project's logos as the editor's logo picker offers them: the default and any library logos (a white or brandmark version is just another entry), with the ids flypost_place_logo and flypost_carousel_logo take. Also the carousel logo settings from brand settings (show_logo, logo_scale).

flypost_list_media

ChatGPT
The project's media library: carousel slide images (current and earlier versions), generated post images and article covers, newest first, each with its url and where it came from. Any of them can go on a carousel slide with flypost_upload_slide_image (source_url). Look at one with flypost_view_visuals on its concept.

flypost_list_monitored_creators

ChatGPT
The LinkedIn creators this project monitors, with their topics and when their posts were last gathered.

flypost_list_post_images

ChatGPT
List the images on a post draft: its attached photos (from flypost_attach_post_image or flypost_create_post_image) and the visual it publishes with. Use the image_url values with flypost_remove_post_image.

flypost_list_projects

ChatGPT
List the Flypost projects (workspaces) this account can access, with roles and which one is active.

flypost_list_sources

ChatGPT
List the project's Brain sources and notebooks (content_source_packages) with item counts and ingestion status.

flypost_monitor_creators

ChatGPT
Start monitoring LinkedIn creators (from flypost_find_creators, or LinkedIn profile URLs the user gives you) on the given topics, which also starts gathering their recent posts. The plan caps monitored creators (Creator 3, Pro and Agency 25), and a person can be monitored in only one of the user's projects; anything refused is listed under skipped. Add only creators the user chose. To stop monitoring some, use flypost_unmonitor_creators.

flypost_move_slide_image

ChatGPT
Move a slide's image to another slide of the same carousel; the source slide is left without an image. To exchange two slides' images use flypost_swap_slide_images. The image keeps its crop. Slide ids come from flypost_view_visuals; check the result there afterwards.

flypost_outline_article

ChatGPT
Step 2 of the staged article flow: build the outline from the prepared brief, or rebuild it. Returns the brief; show it to the user when they want a say, and adjust it with flypost_update_article_brief (drop weak sources, switch research mode, reorder sections). After changing sources run this again to rebuild, optionally with feedback and add_source_ids. A rebuild replaces the current outline. Then write the body with flypost_generate_article.

flypost_prepare_article

ChatGPT
Step 1 of Flypost's own long-form writer (server-side AI + web research). Prefer flypost_save_article when you can write the article yourself — it is faster and costs the user nothing. Use this when the user explicitly asks for Flypost to write it, or wants its built-in research. Creates the article from topic + target_query + angle (or takes an existing article_id) and gathers Brain material into a brief. Then build the outline with flypost_outline_article. Always set target_query: it steers the writer and is what keyword tracking reports on.

flypost_refine_image_copy

ChatGPT
Have the app rewrite the words baked onto an Image or infographic post from your feedback (the editor's "Edit text" on the image): headline, stat, comparison rows, steps or list items. It saves the new copy to the concept; the picture itself only changes when you regenerate it with flypost_generate_image (same variant), so read the returned copy first. For an Image post the reply also carries warnings: what the app's fact-check wants a person to look at (a claim stretched beyond the source, a word the audience may not know). Pass them on to the user rather than regenerating over them. To set the words exactly yourself instead, resave the concept with flypost_save_concept (content_bank_item_id, image_copy / infographic_copy). For carousel slides use flypost_edit_slides.

flypost_refresh_post_analytics

ChatGPT
Pull fresh numbers from LinkedIn for the project's tracked posts (the Post Analytics page's refresh). Runs in the background for a few minutes; flypost_get_post_analytics shows each post's metrics_at, so you can tell which numbers are fresh. Use it before judging how a recent post did, not before every read.

flypost_remove_post_image

ChatGPT
Take one image off a post draft (image_url from flypost_list_post_images). An attached photo just comes off; removing the visual a post publishes with turns a standalone post back into a plain text post, or puts a concept-backed post back on the concept's own generated visual. The post keeps no copy, so to put it back you would attach it again. Only remove an image the user asked you to take off.

flypost_remove_slide_image

ChatGPT
Take the image off one carousel slide, leaving it without one (an image-led template then shows that slide bare). Only when the user asks, or to make a slide text-only.

flypost_reuse_slide_image

ChatGPT
Put an image that was already on a carousel slide (this carousel or another one, current or from its history) onto one slide of this carousel, keeping its crop. Also how to revert a slide to an earlier image. Any image it replaces stays in the slide's history.

flypost_rewrite_article_section

ChatGPT
Rewrite one passage of an article per an instruction, optionally grounded on the Brain and/or live web research. Returns the rewritten text directly.

flypost_rewrite_section

ChatGPT
Rewrite one highlighted passage of a post draft per an instruction, optionally with web research. Blocks until the rewritten text is ready (~1-3 minutes).

flypost_save_article

ChatGPT
PREFERRED way to produce a Pulse article: write the article yourself and save it here. Omit article_id to create a new one, or pass it to replace an existing article body. Before writing, read flypost_get_brand_kit + flypost_get_writing_voice and ground claims with flypost_search_source_docs. Body is markdown (## headings, lists, links); the app converts it for the editor. Use flypost_generate_article instead only when the user explicitly wants Flypost's own writer with its built-in web research.

flypost_save_concept

ChatGPT
Save a concept whose WORDS you wrote yourself: carousel slides, or the title/angle brief for a single image or infographic. Lands at concept stage with no flypost_develop_concept pass (and no AI billing). Returns editor_url — the in-app editor for this concept. Single images: set image_substyle AND the matching image_copy (the exact words baked onto the image) — the render uses those verbatim; without them the image model invents the headline and can feature the wrong number. Infographics: same deal — set infographic_style AND the matching infographic_copy, which carries every figure and line the graphic shows. The prose angle does NOT reach the image model intact, so any number you leave only in the angle gets invented. Image posts: continue to flypost_generate_image. Carousels: the slides have NO images yet — follow the returned next_steps (generate per-slide images with flypost_generate_slide_image, or hand the user editor_url) before any flypost_build_carousel render. Pass content_bank_item_id to overwrite an existing item in place; omit it to create a new one. Ground the copy via flypost_get_writing_voice + flypost_search_source_docs first. The angle you pass is automatically filed into a per-agent Brain source package so your framing stays visible and checkable — pass agent_name so it is filed under your name.

flypost_save_idea

ChatGPT
Save a post idea you authored yourself into the content bank. Use flypost_get_brand_kit + flypost_search_brain first so the idea fits the brand and its material. The idea can then be developed with flypost_develop_concept. Any material you pass in angle/development_notes is automatically filed into a per-agent Brain source package ('<agent_name> — agent-provided material'), so it stays visible, searchable and covered by claim verification. Put the research you did (what happened, sources, dates, how to frame it) in development_notes: develop uses those notes as this idea's own research, ahead of anything else in the Brain — pass agent_name so it is filed under your name. This tool refuses ideas that duplicate an existing idea, the argument already made in one of its drafts, or a post the user has already published; run flypost_check_coverage on your candidates first so you find that out before you write them, not after.

flypost_schedule_post

ChatGPT
Publish a post draft to LinkedIn now, or schedule it for a future time. Carousels need no separate render: if the PDF is missing or older than the slides, this starts the render and the post goes out (or is scheduled) as soon as it finishes, returned as status 'deferred'. Otherwise blocks until the provider confirms (publish-now) or the schedule is registered. A project can hold several identities (the user's profile, teammates' profiles, company pages) — say who to post as with post_as; the choice is recorded on the post and shown in the Posts list and calendar.

flypost_score_authenticity

ChatGPT
Score post text on the authenticity rubric (how human/authentic it reads — low scores risk LinkedIn throttling). Pass a draft_id or raw text. include_fixes: also return the ready-made fixes from the Post Score panel for the failing tips: rewrites ({find, replace}, find is an exact line of the post) or a question for the first-hand detail that is missing. Ask the user that question rather than inventing an answer.

flypost_search_brain

ChatGPT
LAST RESORT. Passage-level Brain search that runs a server-side LLM to extract quotes — 20–40s and it bills the user's AI budget. Use flypost_search_source_docs first: it returns the full source documents for the same query in ~2s at no AI cost, and you can pick the quotes out yourself. Only fall back to this tool if those documents were genuinely insufficient.

flypost_search_inspiration

ChatGPT
Search the posts gathered from the LinkedIn thought leaders this project monitors (the Inspiration / Monitoring feature). With no query it returns their biggest outperformers: posts ranked by reactions against that creator's own median (vs_creator_median = 3 means 3x their usual). With a query it keyword-matches post text and topics. Sort by 'recent' to catch LinkedIn news and changes creators are talking about this week. Use it to learn what is resonating and what is being discussed — never to copy another creator's wording or pass off their claims as the user's. Read-only and unbilled.

flypost_search_source_docs

ChatGPT
The default way to ground content in the user's own material: whole-document Brain search (vector only, ~2s, no AI billing). Returns the matching source documents with REAL source item ids (usable to pin sources on articles) — read them and pull the quotes, stats and anecdotes you need. Optionally include a relevance pre-check for a topic.

flypost_select_image

ChatGPT
Pin one of an image or infographic post's generated versions as the image it shows and publishes (the editor's version picker). flypost_view_visuals lists the versions. A new generation is pinned automatically; use this to go back to an earlier one. Place the logo afterwards.

flypost_suggest_article_share_post_edits

ChatGPT
Up to 4 short ideas for improving the LinkedIn post that shares an article (the Share panel's suggestions). Saves nothing: apply one with flypost_write_article_share_post (as feedback).

flypost_suggest_post_image_ideas

ChatGPT
Have Flypost pitch three picture ideas for a TEXT post (each: a title, what is in the frame, and short on_image_text). Nothing is rendered or saved. You can also come up with 2-3 ideas yourself from the post instead. Either way, SHOW THE USER THE IDEAS AND LET THEM PICK, then render the chosen one with flypost_create_post_image. Rules for ideas: concrete and drawable, tied to this post, never a real product's UI or logo, no brand name, and the words on the image never claim more than the post does (a post that says 'reportedly' gets no image stating it as fact). For image/infographic/carousel posts use flypost_generate_image instead.

flypost_swap_slide_images

ChatGPT
Swap the images of two slides of the same carousel. Both slides must have an image. The image keeps its crop. Slide ids come from flypost_view_visuals; check the result there afterwards.

flypost_track_article_keywords

ChatGPT
The article keyword tracker (Analytics > Article rankings, a beta some accounts have): add the searches an article should rank for and its live URL, and check whether it appears in Google's top 10, Google's AI Overview, ChatGPT and Perplexity (each sampled several times). New keywords are checked straight away in the background (several minutes); call again with check false to read the results. Returns every tracked keyword with its latest result per engine.

flypost_undo_design_revision

ChatGPT
Bring back the design as it was before the last flypost_revise_design. A carousel swaps with the deck the revision kept aside (instant, nothing renders), so calling it again puts the revision back. An image post goes back to the version the revision was made from; the revision stays among its versions (flypost_select_image).

flypost_unmonitor_creators

ChatGPT
Stop monitoring LinkedIn creators in this project (ids from flypost_list_monitored_creators). Their gathered posts are deleted too, so they drop out of flypost_search_inspiration. Only creators the user asked to drop.

flypost_update_article_brief

ChatGPT
Adjust an article's brief before it is written — the app's Brief screen. Drop or restore sources, switch research mode, and reorder outline sections. Read the current brief (ids included) from flypost_get_article or the result of flypost_prepare_article / flypost_outline_article. Source and research-mode changes apply on the next outline rebuild: run flypost_outline_article after this, as the app's "Update brief" does. Section order applies to the next flypost_generate_article. To add a NEW Brain source, use add_source_ids on flypost_outline_article instead.

flypost_update_brand_kit

ChatGPT
Change the project's brand settings (Project Settings > Brand), only the fields you pass: company and audience, website, industry, products, key topics, brand colours (#RRGGBB), fonts, the infographic visual tone, visual notes for image generation, and the carousel logo settings. Every generator reads these, so change them only when the user asks or confirms (e.g. "we now sell to CFOs", "our accent colour is #FF5A1F"). Read flypost_get_brand_kit first. Logos are filed with flypost_upload_logo.

flypost_update_draft

ChatGPT
Replace a draft's post text — the autosave-equivalent edit. This REPLACES existing text; the result includes previous_text so you can restore it if the overwrite was a mistake. Follow the project writing voice (flypost_get_writing_voice). Line breaks are preserved as LinkedIn paragraphs.

flypost_update_writing_voice

ChatGPT
Change the project's writing voice (Project Settings > Voice): the voice guide, words to avoid, and formatting rules. Every post, article and slide the app writes follows these, and so must you. Each field you pass REPLACES that field, so read flypost_get_writing_voice first and send the full new text (e.g. add a word to the existing avoid list, do not send just the new word). Pass null to clear a field. Change them when the user asks you to remember a style rule.

flypost_upload_slide_image

ChatGPT
Put an image the user gave you on one carousel slide: image_base64 + content_type, or source_url of an image Flypost already hosts (e.g. from flypost_attach_post_image or flypost_list_media); max 5MB. Any image it replaces stays in the slide's history. Only ever an image the user actually gave you. To reuse an image from another slide use flypost_reuse_slide_image; to move or swap images between slides use flypost_move_slide_image or flypost_swap_slide_images.

flypost_use_project

ChatGPT
Set the active project for this session. Subsequent tools default to it when project_id is omitted.

flypost_view_visuals

ChatGPT
See a post's visuals in seconds, without rendering anything: a carousel's slides (role, wording and every slide image), or an image/infographic post's published image plus its other generated versions, returned inline for you to look at. Use it to check your own work after generating (on brand, readable, no garbled text, no fake logos or interfaces, logo visible exactly once) and fix what is poor before the user sees it. This, not flypost_build_carousel, is how you check a carousel: the PDF render takes minutes and is only for publishing. Pass draft_id for a post (shows what that post publishes) or content_bank_item_id for a concept. Then hand the user editor_url.

Have the app write the LinkedIn post that shares an article (the article editor's Share panel), in the project's voice, and save it on the article, replacing any saved one. Pass feedback to revise the saved one. For ideas on improving it without changing it, use flypost_suggest_article_share_post_edits. Or write the post yourself and put it on a draft as usual.
