Overview
Knowra helps researchers find relevant arXiv papers and decide where to spend their reading time, directly in Claude. Search papers by research question, keywords, authors or date range. Knowra searches indexed arXiv titles, authors and abstracts, and supports exact UTC date windows of up to one calendar month, so Claude can look at only the papers from a specific day, week or month. For papers that look promising, Claude can read a Scout report. Scout is generated from the full paper and lays out the key findings, methods, experimental conditions, evidence, verification points and stated limitations. Figures are described through their captions and text descriptions. Scout is a screening aid: it helps rule out papers that do not fit your setting and points to what you should check in the original paper. It is not a substitute for reading the paper or for peer review. Tools - Search papers: search arXiv titles, authors and abstracts, with optional date filters. Available without signing in. - Get Scout report: read the Scout report for a paper returned by search. Requires a Knowra account. - Get usage: check your Scout allowance, usage and reset time. Requires a Knowra account. Access - Search is free, with no daily search quota (rate limited per IP). - Free Knowra accounts include 5 first-time Scout unlocks per UTC day. Reading a paper you have already unlocked is free. - Pro accounts include 500 first-time Scout unlocks per month. - Your Knowra account, allowance and unlocked papers are shared across the Knowra app, website and this connector. Knowra only receives the tool requests Claude sends, not your conversation history. See https://knowra.app/privacy for details.
