Overview

Lemonpost lets you write, schedule and publish social posts without leaving ChatGPT. Connect Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads and Bluesky once. Then ask ChatGPT to draft a caption, tailor it for each platform, attach an image or video, and send it to your queue, a time on your calendar, or out right now. Post as a story or reel, add a first comment, or thread a long caption. Check that an account is ready before you publish. Ask what went out, which platform failed and why, and retry with one message. Pull a brand's analytics and let ChatGPT tell you what worked. Manage more than one brand? Switch between them in the same chat. Working with a team? Save drafts for review and nothing goes live until someone approves it.

Create a post across a brand's accounts. Four modes: set publishNow to publish immediately, queue to take the brand's next open slot, scheduledAt (ISO 8601) to schedule for a time, or omit all three to save a draft. targets picks which accounts it goes to; omit for a draft with no targets yet. In brands whose approval policy covers this key's creator, the post is submitted for review instead (approvalStatus: pending) and goes out once a teammate approves. Content is checked against each target platform's rules at create time (character limits, media requirements) and rule breaks return an error naming the platform. Fix the content or give that target its own customContent.

delete_media

Delete a media item from a brand's library. If a live post still references it, it's hidden from the library (softDeleted: true) so that post keeps working; otherwise it's removed for good.

Edit a draft or scheduled post: content, media, targets, or the schedule. Omitted fields keep their current value. Can also move it: publishNow publishes immediately, queue takes the next open slot, scheduledAt reschedules, toDraft pulls it back to a draft. Published posts can't be edited.

upload_media_from_url

Import an image or video from a public https url into a brand's library. Returns a media id to attach to a post via create_post or update_post.

validate_post

ChatGPT

Check a post against every target platform's rules without saving or publishing it. Takes the same content, media, and targets as create_post and returns every problem at once, so fix them all before creating the post. Doesn't check timing, approval, or duplicates: create_post still applies those.
