Overview
Mappenings is a live local event discovery platform active in 36+ US cities. Tools let Claude search events by keyword, find what's happening near any location by distance and date range, browse event categories, and pull full event details including direct links. Useful for anything from 'what's going on near me tonight' to building local recommendations and itineraries.

search_events
ClaudeSearch Mappening events by keyword. Returns a page of matching events with basic details (name, dates, price, business). Results don't include a page URL (an event's link depends on which location/showtime you mean) - call get_event with a result's eventGuid for that, or use search_local_events for geo search results that already include a URL.
search_local_events
ClaudeFind Mappening events happening near a geographic point ("what's happening near me"), ranked by distance. Optionally filter by keyword, event type GUIDs, and a date range.
