check_plan
ChatGPTCheck a journey or whether a proposed day fits: travel times, traffic or transit, venue opening hours and gaps between stops. Use a plain-language request with known places and exact dates/times, or structured stops/route when those facts are already available. Supply exactly one of request, stops or route. Returns evidence and conflicts for ChatGPT to interpret and fix; never invents reservations, ticket availability or accessibility. No saves or bookings.
delete_weekend
ChatGPTPermanently deletes one private saved weekend for this account when the user asks to remove it. Does not cancel any booking or Friday subscription.
explore
ChatGPTUse when the user wants weekend ideas, places to visit, local tips, seasonal context, or details, reviews and photos of a particular place. Use find_stays for accommodation research and find_transport for trains, flights, buses or ferries. Describe the question and known constraints in ordinary language; Minerva chooses its editorial research and live place lookups. Works worldwide, with varying editorial depth. Returns source evidence, what was understood and any missing details. Reviews are a provider-selected sample; editorial hotel suggestions are not room availability. Present ideas and comparisons concisely in native chat, with genuine sourced images where supported. Do not automatically open a widget or call show_weekend. ChatGPT researches and builds the final plan. Read-only: never saves, subscribes or books.
find_stays
ChatGPTFind hotels and other stays, research options for requested dates and compare public website information. Describe the destination, dates, guests, budget and preferences together in request when known. Returns sourced web excerpts for ChatGPT to compare in the conversation. This uses web search only: room availability and date-specific prices are not verified. Open the linked hotel or booking page to confirm an offer before presenting it as bookable. Empty results do not mean sold out.
find_transport
ChatGPTResearch how to get somewhere by train, plane, bus or ferry and compare public website information. Describe the starting point, destination, dates and preferences together in request when known. Returns sourced web excerpts for ChatGPT to compare in the conversation. This uses web search only, with no operator inventory connections. Results do not establish complete coverage of any transport mode, current timetables, ticket availability or date-specific fares. Confirm these on the linked operator or booking page; empty results do not mean there is no service.
get_profile
ChatGPTUse when you need what the user has asked Minerva to remember, their starting city and reminder settings. Also reports whether ChatGPT reminders are actually connected. Empty preferences mean nothing has been saved; do not invent a home city or tastes.
get_saved_weekends
ChatGPTUse when the user asks to list, find or read their private saved plans. With no arguments, returns up to 50 recent plan summaries for a concise native chat answer. Optional query filters saved titles and destinations. Pass plan_id to read one saved plan, or view:"latest" to read the most recently saved plan. Returns data only, never opens a page or widget and never refreshes photos or starts new research. Saved details are snapshots; recheck time-sensitive facts only if the user asks to use the plan again.
get_weekend_settings
ChatGPTRead the user’s starting city and reminder preferences, plus actual notification connection status. A saved reminder preference is not a confirmed ChatGPT subscription. This is also Minerva Weekend’s native plugin settings reader.
save_weekend
ChatGPTSaves a private snapshot of the user’s itinerary and selected option. Use only after an explicit save request or Save click. Nothing is booked. Identical retries are safe; revisions create new snapshots. Save original planning notes and official-source links, not copied map-provider reviews or data dumps. Temporary map-provider photos are displayed for this call but not stored; retain place_id to refresh later if requested. No automatic Friday subscription.
search_weekends
ChatGPTSearches this account’s saved weekend titles for the host’s mention picker. Empty query lists recent saved plans. No public or other users’ plans.
show_weekend
ChatGPTShow one chosen route with stops and a map only when the user asks for its detailed visual view. Present initial ideas, comparisons and saved-plan lists naturally in chat without this tool. Use get_saved_weekends to list or read saved plans. Pass one route in weekend.options or a saved plan_id whose selected route the user wants to see. Empty arguments are reserved for the app-menu entrypoint. Do not open the home page in response to a request for saved plans. Include concise factual notes and actual source links; do not invent photos, prices, opening times or availability. This visual view does not save or book anything.
update_profile
ChatGPTRemember or forget preferences and change reminder settings, only as the user explicitly requests. Changes are saved together. Add list preferences; replace budget, pace or notes; forget permanently. Keep health conditions, allergies and other sensitive details out of saved preferences. Turning reminders on requires an explicitly known city and IANA time zone. After saving an opt-in, supported hosts must subscribe to weekend.planning_due; reminders are active only when delivery.active is true. Turning reminders off stops future signals. Forgetting preferences does not delete saved plans.
update_weekend_settings
ChatGPTSave only settings the user explicitly asked to change. Pass changed fields under set. City and a valid IANA time zone must be explicitly known before reminders can be enabled; never assume London or infer a time zone from a city. Set weekly_enabled=true only after an explicit request for recurring weekend reminders; choose reminder_days as comma-separated ISO weekdays (1,2,3,4,5,6,7 for daily, 5 for Friday) or days_of_week as an equivalent array; then, on hosts with MCP Events, subscribe to weekend.planning_due following the user’s monitoring instructions. Never describe saved preferences as active delivery unless delivery.active is true. Set weekly_enabled=false when the user asks to stop. No paid background research is run by Minerva.
