Overview
NoMac gives Claude a cloud iPhone and a full cloud Mac with Xcode, paid from prepaid credit at $0.80 an hour and billed by the minute. The cloud iPhone is ready in seconds. Claude builds your app from its repository on the phone's own Mac, reads the screen as text, taps and types by label, runs your tests and reads the app's logs, and gives you a link to watch the phone live. For everything else Claude can start a whole macOS VM in about a minute, clone your repository, build and run tests in the iOS Simulator and read the results. It can take screenshots of the screen or the Simulator, record a video of your app running for you, move files of up to 2 GB in either direction, and stop the Mac when the work is done. Developers on Windows and Linux use it to build, test and ship iOS apps without owning a Mac. If you connect App Store Connect, Claude can also upload builds to TestFlight, manage testers, edit your App Store listing and submit for review. Write actions show a preview first and need your approval. Credit is prepaid with no subscription and never expires. Each session has a spend cap, payments always happen in your own browser, and stopping a Mac or a phone deletes it, while your project stays with your account for the next build.
