Overview

NotoScribe records and transcribes your conversations — meetings, lectures, calls, interviews — and turns them into structured, searchable notes organised into spaces. This connector lets you work with those recordings directly in chat. Ask what was decided in a meeting you had last month, pull the action items out of a call, compare what a client said across several conversations, or find the one recording where a topic came up. It can list your spaces, browse the recordings inside them, read any single note with its full transcript, and answer questions across a whole space with citations back to the source recordings. Access is read-only. It cannot create, edit, or delete anything in your account, and it only reaches spaces you can already open. You sign in with your existing NotoScribe account and can disconnect at any time.

Read one note in full: its title, date, AI summary, the primary generated note body, and the transcript. Pass a note id from list_notes or from a search_notes source. A long transcript comes back in parts: when transcript_has_more is true you have NOT read the whole recording yet — call get_note again with transcriptOffset set to transcript_next_offset, and repeat until transcript_has_more is false, before answering anything that depends on the full transcript. When the recording captured the screen or photos, the first part also lists them under images (with when and why each was taken) and the screen recording's chapters; call get_note_image to look at one — figures, tables and documents shown on screen are often only partly spoken aloud.

Look at one screen capture or photo taken during a recording. Pass the note id and an image id from the images list that get_note returns. Use it when the answer depends on what was on screen — a table, a figure, a document or a slide — rather than only on what was said.

list_notes

List recordings/notes in a given space, most recent first. Returns each note's id, title, status, date, and short summary. Use the note id with get_note to read the full transcript and content.

list_spaces

List the user's NotoScribe spaces (projects/topics that group recordings), including spaces shared with them. Call this first to get a spaceId before using search_notes or list_notes.

search_notes

Search a space, in any language, by meaning and by keyword: its recordings' transcripts, write-ups, summaries and screenshots, and its chat's messages, files, links and folders. Returns the recordings that match, best first, each with the passages that matched and the time (M:SS) each passage starts at, and a chat list of the chat entries that match, each with who sent or shared it, the day and a link to open it in NotoScribe. Transcript passages are what was said, word for word; write-up and summary passages are notes about the recording. Use get_note to read more of a recording and to list its screenshots for get_note_image. Requires a spaceId from list_spaces.
