Overview

Just tell ChatGPT what to remember and when. Nudges confirms the exact time, then emails you the moment it's due. No app to install, no phone number, no cap on how many you set, and no paywall. It understands the way you actually talk: "in 30 minutes," "tomorrow at 9," "every morning at 8," "every other Friday." Every reminder comes back with the exact local time and the inbox it's headed to, so you catch a mistake before it matters. Ask for your reminders any time, and cancel any one in a sentence. Nudges is free and unlimited, and it reaches you in the inbox you already check. Your email is verified the moment you connect, so there's nothing to set up. We deliver reminders to that address and count basic usage events to run the service. We never store what your reminders say.

Tools

cancel_reminder

ChatGPT
Cancel a reminder so it won't be delivered. Use for 'cancel the dentist reminder', 'stop the daily meds reminder', etc. Cancelling a recurring reminder stops the whole series. Look up the reminder_id with list_reminders first if you don't have it.

list_reminders

ChatGPT
List the user's reminders. Use for 'what reminders do I have?', 'show my reminders', or to find a reminder's id before cancelling. By default shows upcoming (active) reminders and any that failed to deliver; pass include='all' to also show delivered and canceled history. Recurring reminders show their next occurrence.

reconfirm_timezone

ChatGPT
Internal. The confirmation widget calls this with the user's true browser time zone to lock a just-created reminder to the correct zone (needed when only a UTC offset was known). Not intended for direct use — prefer set_reminder.

set_reminder

ChatGPT
Set one or more reminders that Nudges emails to the user when they're due. Use whenever the user asks to be reminded ('remind me to…', 'don't let me forget…'). For each reminder give the text plus exactly ONE timing: minutes_from_now for relative ('in 30 minutes'), at for an absolute local time 'YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm' (you resolve 'tomorrow', 'next Friday', etc. to the real calendar date), or recurrence for repeating ('every morning at 8', 'every other Friday'). Always pass timezone (the user's IANA zone) when you know it, else utc_offset_minutes. Resolve vague words: morning=09:00, noon=12:00, afternoon=14:00, evening/tonight=19:00, end of day=17:00, midnight=00:00. If a time is in the past or ambiguous, ask the user instead of guessing. You may create several reminders in one call.
