Overview

NYC RSVPs tells you exactly when reservations open at about 70 of New York City's hardest-to-book restaurants, such as Carbone, Don Angie, Torrisi, Via Carota, and 4 Charles Prime Rib. Each restaurant releases tables on its own schedule: a set number of days ahead, a calendar month ahead, on the 1st of the month, or twice a month. Tell ChatGPT the restaurant and the night you want, and NYC RSVPs gives the exact release time in New York time, whether booking is already open, and the booking platform (Resy, OpenTable, Tock, SevenRooms, and others). Compare up to three restaurants for a date in a compact card, or browse up to six by cuisine or neighborhood to see how far ahead each one books. Tap Book when booking is open, or Remind me to ask ChatGPT for a reminder before tables are released. NYC RSVPs does not book tables, hold reservations, or take payments, and it does not need an account. Release rules come from each restaurant's published policy and can change.

With desired_date, show one to three restaurants with the exact time reservations open, a Book link when booking is open, and a Remind me action when it is not. Without desired_date, show up to six restaurants with how far ahead each releases tables, for browsing. Call search_restaurants first to get restaurant_id values.

Do not use for general restaurant recommendations, reviews, menus, or live table availability, or for restaurants outside New York City. To look up several restaurants at once, pass them all in names. It returns matching restaurants with their restaurant_id values and release rules. To show the user exact opening times for a date, pass the restaurant_id values to render_reservation_options. Only tracked New York City restaurants are returned; an empty list means none matched.
