add_todos
ChatGPTAdd one or more todos (max 50). Without group_id/date/today a todo goes to the default list ("Unsorted"). Use today: true or date (YYYY-MM-DD) to plan it on a day; the day's group is created automatically. All-or-nothing.
add_yearly_date
ChatGPTAdd a birthday, anniversary or other date that comes back every year. It shows on the calendar and in the morning notification; it is not a todo. For a todo that repeats (e.g. "pay rent" monthly), use add_todos with repeat instead.
create_group
ChatGPTCreate a list (kind "list", e.g. "Garden") or a dated group (kind "dated" with date, optionally end_date for a period like a trip). Plain days don't need this: add_todos with a date creates the day automatically.
delete_todo
ChatGPTMove a todo to the trash. The user can restore it for 30 days. Prefer update_todo with done: true for finished todos.
get_calendar
ChatGPTThe user's calendar for a range of days (default: today and the next 30 days, at most 400): per day the todos planned for it, grouped by the day or period (e.g. a trip) they belong to, and the day's note. Only days with something on them are returned. To plan a todo on a day, use add_todos with date; to write a day note, use set_day_note.
get_today
ChatGPTStart here. Returns today's date and the user's timezone, today's todos, overdue todos from earlier days, and what is planned for the next 7 days.
list_groups
ChatGPTList the user's groups with open/done counts: the default list (is_default), lists (kind "list") and dated groups (kind "dated", with date and optional end_date).
list_reading_list
ChatGPTList links on the user's reading list (unread by default), newest first, with category, reading time and summary. Filter by status, category name or a search term.
list_todos
ChatGPTFind todos. Filter by group, status, search text, a specific day, or overdue only. Returns open todos by default.
move_overdue_to_today
ChatGPTMove every open todo from past days to today. Returns how many were moved.
save_for_later
ChatGPTSave a link (article, X post, video, podcast, paper…) to the user's reading list. It is sorted into a category automatically; the app fetches the page and writes a short summary. If you already read the page, pass summary (2–3 sentences: Dutch for Dutch pages, English otherwise) and optional key_points, and the app uses yours. Saving a link that is already on the list moves it back to the top.
set_day_note
ChatGPTWrite the note shown on a calendar day (replaces what was there; empty content removes it). For things to do on that day, add todos with a date instead. Read the current note with get_calendar first if you want to add to it.
update_reading_item
ChatGPTMark a reading list item read (status: "read") or unread, move it to another category, or change its notes or summary. Only the fields you pass change.
update_todo
ChatGPTChange a todo: check it off (done: true) or reopen it (done: false), rename it, edit notes, or move it to another group (group_id), a day (date) or today (today: true). Only the fields you pass change.
