compare_new_vs_secondhand
ChatGPTUse this when the user asks whether to buy an item new or pre-owned, what it costs secondhand, or how resale prices compare to retail. Returns the lowest new and pre-owned prices Phia finds plus example listings.
Overview
Phia helps you shop fashion, bags, shoes and accessories across hundreds of retailers and resale marketplaces in one place. Ask for a specific item or a style and Phia shows real products with images, prices and the store they come from. Ask whether something is worth buying new or pre-owned and Phia shows the lowest new and pre-owned prices side by side, with listings for each. You can filter by price, gender, condition or items on sale, and browse Phia's editorial style guides for outfit ideas. Tap Shop to open the product on the retailer's own website, where you complete your purchase. Phia does not process payments or place orders, and it does not need an account or any personal information. Prices and availability come from the stores and can change. Phia may earn a commission when you buy through its links. Currently available in the United States with prices in USD.
