PrintMap

By Sasa Talic

Overview

PrintMap builds a ready-to-edit map poster from a sentence. Ask for any city, town, mountain or country, a style (25 to choose from — minimalist, vintage, nautical, blueprint, satellite, topographic and more), a paper size and a caption, and PrintMap shows a live preview of the real map in the chat. The map is drawn from OpenStreetMap data, so streets, rivers and coastlines are accurate, not invented. One click opens the printm.app editor with everything already set up: fine-tune colours, add markers, a route or a GPX track, then download a high-resolution PNG, a vector SVG or PDF, a 3D-printable terrain model or a rotating video. Great for wedding and anniversary gifts, hometown and travel posters, and hiking or running route keepsakes.

Tools

create_map_poster

ChatGPT

Use when the user wants a map poster, a city or street map print, map wall art or a map gift of a real place. Builds the poster in the printm.app editor from real OpenStreetMap data, so streets, rivers and coastlines are accurate and it exports print-ready at up to A1 (an illustrated or generated picture of a map would invent the streets). Sets up place, style, paper size, caption, contour lines and 3D terrain. Free, no account. Give either a place name that has its own page, or lat and lng (any place on Earth), or country_code for a country-silhouette poster. Returns the editor URL to hand to the user.

find_place

ChatGPT

Search the 324 cities and 205 countries that have their own page on printm.app. Returns coordinates, the page URL and a poster image. Places not listed still work — pass lat and lng to create_map_poster.
