Education
Overview
Nobody taught you how to run a business, yet here you are running one anyway. This library holds six years of what the Small Business Owners Community has worked out in public. Two hundred posts and episodes on pricing, raising your rates, finding clients, chasing late payers, hiring, burnout, marketing, using AI, and what to do when you feel stuck and alone in it. Ask a real question and it hands back the passage that answers it, with the source, the date, and a link to the full post or episode. It's general business education from owners who have actually been there. No theory, no sales pitch, no prices.
Tools
Get the opening and the outline of one post or episode by its id (ids come from search_library or whats_new), with the link to the full thing. The library never returns a full post.
search_library
ClaudeSearch The Small Business Library for small business help and advice: what the Small Business Owners Community has learned about a question from an owner, entrepreneur, solopreneur, or freelancer. Returns the best matching passages (200 words at most) with a match label (strong, related, or weak), source, date, and link. Use plain words an owner would use, like 'raise my prices without losing clients'.
whats_new
ClaudeThe newest posts and episodes added to the library. Use when someone asks what's new or what Pat talked about lately. Returns 8 unless count is given.
