Spelt

By Nori Labs

Overview

Tell ChatGPT the business you keep meaning to start. Spelt sketches it in about ten seconds: a name with a free domain, who buys it, what to charge and what it could earn, the first customers to reach, who else does it, and a real landing page live at its own address. Like it? One tap opens it in Spelt, where your AI cofounder and a team of agents build the product, launch it and find your first customers, while you decide.

Tools

answer_question

ChatGPT

Answer the question Spelt is waiting on by picking one of its options (ask_id and options come from status). Approvals of spending or sign-offs cannot be answered here: only the user's own tap in Spelt approves those, and this tool says so. For a free-text answer, use send_message instead.

get_reply

ChatGPT

Read what landed in the company chat after a message: Spelt's replies, and anything the user or a teammate wrote there. Waits up to wait_seconds for Spelt to answer. If spelt_working is still true, he is mid-task; call again.

get_sketch

ChatGPT

The current state of a company sketch, for the panel while its page and research land.

list_companies

ChatGPT

The companies on the user's Spelt account that they can act on (their own and ones a teammate invited them to), with the slug every other tool takes.

send_message

ChatGPT

Send Spelt, the user's AI cofounder, a message in the company chat, as the user. Spelt reads it and replies in the chat, usually within a minute; read the reply with get_reply, passing the message_id this returns. Use for anything the user wants from Spelt: a change to the product or site, a question about the company, a plan. Billed like a message the user types: a few free a day, then a small charge in credits. Spelt may ask a question back; see status and answer_question.

sketch_company

ChatGPT

Turn a business or startup idea into a company sketch in about ten seconds: a name with a free domain, who buys it, pricing, the first customers to reach, real competitors, and a live landing page at its own web address. Use when someone describes an idea for a business, product, side project or startup and wants to see it take shape, validate it, name it, price it or get a website for it. Do not use for general business questions without an idea, for coding help, or for pages that pretend to be an existing company or brand.

status

ChatGPT

What is running on a company right now (builds, changes, Spelt's own work), its stage, and the question Spelt is waiting on the user for, if any, with its ask_id and options for answer_question.
